It was a good weekend for the Anderson girls' soccer team who finished second at the annual Bedford Tournament.

The Titans beat Crestwood 3-0, tied host Bedford 2-2 and tied Downriver League rival 1-1.

Laekyn Jaciuk had four goals on the day putting her at 30 for the season. The junior now has 82 career goals, making her the all-time leading scorer in Anderson history.

Andrea Thornsberry scored her 50th career goal and broke the school record for all-time assists.

The Marauders fell 4-3 to Crestwood on a last minute free kick and lost 2-1 to Bedford.

Kristina Torres scored the goal to tie the Titans.

Both teams will be back in action when they go head to head in the Downriver League position round on Wednesday.
