Both Taylor Truman and Taylor Kennedy saw their seasons end Wednesday night in the district semifinals but in two different ways.

Truman fell in a closer game 53-42 to last year’s regional champ Westland John Glenn.

It was 29-25 at the half in favor of the Rockets before Truman took a lead in the third quarter. But John Glenn started the fourth quarter with three triples and went on to post the win.

Truman was led by April Micheaux with 12 points. Judah Frazier and Caprice King each scored 10 in the loss.

The Cougars were four-for-15 from the charity stripe and 0-for-10 from beyond the three point line.

In the other district semifinal, Kennedy was stomped 52-19 by Romulus.

Daija Anderson led the team with six points and eight rebounds.

Teressa Savastano finished with six points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists.
