The Anderson hockey team continued its strong season with a 5-1 victory over Gabriel Richard in its only game of the week last week.
The Titans took a two-goal lead before the Pioneers got on board.
Kelly O’Brien got the Anderson scoring started with a power play goal with 9:03 left in the opening period.
Mac Slowik and Jonah Peryam had the assists.
James Birmingham extended the lead unassisted, with a shorthanded goal a minute later.
The Pioneers got on board with a goal from Mancini, assisted by Sorovetz and Brannon with just over three minutes to go.
The Anderson defense proved strong and did not allow another goal the rest of the game, while the offense added three more to the scoreboard.
Almost a full period passed without any scoring, but Slowik added a goal to his assist with four minutes to go in the middle period. Kyle Seymour had the assist.
The Titans added two more goals in the third period to cap off the scoring and ensure their win.
Andrew Witz put Anderson up 4-1, with assists from O’Brien and Matt Cooper.
O’Brien netted his second of the night to finish the Titan scoring with 9:32 left to play. Birmingham and Nick Spagnol had the assists.
Trevor Presnell got the win in net, stopping 37 of 38 goals.
The Pioneers had just 16 shots on net.
The Titans travel to Ann Arbor Huron on Wednesday and Woodhaven on Saturday.
