The Anderson wrestling team continued its dominating season, winning their second team tournament in as many weeks on Saturday.

The Titans finished 5-0 in winning the Saline team tournament.

En route to their victory, the Titans knocked off Grand Rapids Northview (41-19), Sterling Heights Stevenson (72-6), Utica (72-6), Hillsdale (72-6) and Saline in the finals (36-26).

The Titans, now 27-3 as a team, seem to be right on track as they head into the Downriver League meet this weekend.

The team’s only losses have come at the hands of state ranked teams.

“We’re peaking at the right time,” Coach Jerry Frazier said. “The kids are working hard, trying to achieve the goals we set at the beginning of the year.”

Anderson will wrestle in their final dual meet of the season tonight against Roosevelt, before heading to Woodhaven on Saturday for the league meet, where they have hopes of winning the league title.

“(We’ll) just go in there and do what we’ve been doing every weekend,” Frazier said. “If we take care of our business, we’ll be good.”
