Thursday’s Prep Roundup: Basketball, hockey, and cheer results

Girls Basketball

- Madison Heights Bishop Foley 63, Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 57 - Kallie McElroy finished with 24 points and Mikayla Thompson contributed 22 points for Inter-City Baptist. Jillian Ramos totaled 19 points and Erin Whitman, Jessica Russo and Lydia Capaldi all added 13 points for Bishop Foley.

Boys Basketball

- Allen Park Cabrini 51, New Haven Austin Catholic 12 (From Wednesday) - At Allen Park, Matt Bzura recorded 12 points, Colin O'Leary scored 11 points while John Hager added nine points for Cabrini on Senior Night.

Hockey

- Trenton 5, Wyandotte Roosevelt 3 (From Wednesday) - Andrew DeSana scored a goal and had an assist. Matt Gilbert and Turner Mann had a goal. Bailey Byrd had two assists for Roosevelt. Jake Timmerman made 21 saves.

- Grosse Ile 11, Southgate Anderson 4 (From Wednesday) - Blake Petterle had four goals and four assists. Devin Stroia had two goals and an assist. Both Cody Keenan and Chris Mihai added a goal and three assists. Jack Carter had a goal and an assist for Grosse Ile. Scott Lippert made 22 saves.

- Temperance Bedford 6, Gibraltar Carlson 0 - (From Tuesday) Jacob Schulty finished with three goals and David Jeffers supplied a goal and an assist for Bedford.

- Grosse Ile 8, Riverview 0 - (From Monday) At Trenton, Dylan Pattenaude notched a pair of goals, Blake Petterle added a goal and three assists, Chris Mihai and Jacob Dudash each contributed a goal and an assist and Scott Lippert stopped all seven shots he faced in net for Grosse Ile. Ryan Mehrhof made 51 saves in net for Riverview.

Competitive Cheer

- (From Saturday) At Lincoln Park, New Boston Huron tallied season-best scores in all three rounds of a tournament in which it finished in second place. Riverview took first with 661 points, followed by Huron (657 points), Melvindale (636) and Farmington Hills Harrison (486).
