Wednesday’s Prep Roundup: Basketball, wrestling and bowling results

Boys Basketball

- Harper Woods 57, Riverview Gabriel Richard 44 – At Riverview, Anthony Brown scored 12 points and Taja McGee scored nine points for Riverview (14-2, 9-1 CHSL). Gabriel Richard will begin Catholic League Tournament play against Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Wrestling

- Trenton 70, South Lyon 0; Tecumseh 51 Trenton 25 - At New Boston, Double winners for Trenton included: Connor Charping (171); Ean Purcell (285); Sam Rickman (112); Ron Rickman (145); Jackson Rickman (152). Wrestlers that went 1-1 on the day included: Juette Peterson (1-1); Riley Berry (181); Jagr Moskall (215); Tanner Smith (119); James Adkins (135) Mike McLellan (140). Trenton finished the season as a top-16 in the state (31-7). Trenton will send seven wrestlers to the individual regional at Carleton Airport on Saturday. Tecumseh qualifies at the top team in the state for Division 2 and will wrestler in the regional tournament Friday and Saturday.

Boys Bowling

Huron League Bowling

- New Boston Huron 25, Riverview 5 - Tyler White (220-234); Richie Taylor (223-194) recorded the top scores for the Chiefs. Aaron Stubbs (212) paced Riverview.

- Monroe Jefferson 23, Flat Rock 7 - Andrew Anderson (212-227); Dillion Tocco (215) and Drew Tocco (203) paced the way for the Bears. Wendell Rowland (245); Brandon Bonner (237) and Troy Kline (222) had top scores for Flat Rock.

- Milan 23, Romulus Summit Academy 7 - C. Swipe led Milan as he bowled a 218. Nathan Griffith-Wrones shot a 226 for Summit.

- Carleton Airport 24, Dundee 6 - Trevor Woodley (245); Logan McGauhglin (220); Brendan Flowers (213) led the Jets. Dylan Hebel (236) and Breanna Johnson (201) led Dundee.

Girls Bowling

Huron League Bowling

- Jordyn Carroll leads New Boston Huron girls to championship. New Boston Huron, Carleton Airport, Milan and Riverview will be at Nortel for the regional tournament.

- New Boston Huron 17, Carleton Airport 13 - Jordyn Carroll (268-267); Amanda Williams (235); Rachel Wood (217); Danielle Mccomb (190) paced Huron. Lauren Zlatos (221-207) led the Jets.

- Riverview 19, Flat Rock 11 - Courtney Brooks (220); Niz Belles (192); Danielle DellaPella (190) led Riverview. Jasmine Carroll shot a 172 for Flat Rock.

- Monroe Jefferson 15.5, Dundee 14.5 - Hannah Spurlock (165) paced Jefferson while Lily Johnson shot a 179 to lead Dundee.

Boys Bowling

- Allen Park Cabrini 20, West Bloomfield Frankel Jewish Academy 10 – (From Monday) - Josh Berthiaume (201-210) and John Paul III (201-162) for the Monarchs (7-2).
