The Divine Child improved their record to 13-9-1 over the weekend at the Catholic League showcase where they split games.

The Falcons defeated Notre Dame Prep 7-2, before falling 6-0 against Novi CC on Sunday.

Against Prep, DC took a 2-0 lead through the first period.

Each team added two goals in the middle period, but the Falcon defense did not allow a goal in the third period, while the offense added three more.

Brock Bacher led the team with two goals and two assists on the night.

Alex McMann and Michael Perian each had a goal and an assist, Adam Siedlaczek had two assits and Matt Grybel finished off the DC scoring with a goal.

Steve Harvey got the win in net.

Sunday night the Falcons trailed by one through the first period but fell to 4-0 after two periods before the final 6-0 score.

Dominic Stankiewicz stopped 35 of 41 shots in the losing effort.

DC plays Ann Arbor Huron tonight before finishing their season with Saline on Saturday night.
