WATERFORD — Waterford Mott’s Todd Bonnivier hit a walk off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Waterford Mott to a 11-10 win over Walled Lake Western in the second game of a double header. Bonnivier ended the day with four RBI while Tyler Vaughan added in two hits and three RBI for Mott as well.

Western picked up a win in the first game, 10-8 thanks to back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the ninth inning from Cam Vieaux and Mike Schmidt. Schmidt ended the day with six hits total between the two games.

n Auburn Hills Avondale 14-1, Anchor Bay 8-7 — At Auburn Hills, Joe Davison went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, Mitch Robinson went 4-for-4 with three runs scored, and Matt Andrus went 2-for-4 with four RBI for Avondale in the first game. In the second game, Mitch Robinson went 1-for-1 with a run scored for Avondale (21-8).

n Rochester Adams 7, Auburn Hills Avondale 1 (from Friday) — At Auburn Hills, Jeff Turnbull went 3-for-4 with a run scored, and Cory Clemons went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Adams (17-12). Matt Andrus went 3-for-4 with a run scored, and A.J. Susick went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and an RBI for Avondale (20-7).

n Wyandotte Roosevelt 4, Novi 0 — At Novi, Derek Ince went 1-for-2 with a double, and Alex King took the loss on the mound for Novi (16-10).

n Novi 12, Lakeland 2 (6 Innings) — At Novi, Logan Regnier went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored, two home runs, and three RBI, Grant Wheeler went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored, two RBI, and two doubles, Mitch Hall went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI, and Matt Forche had a solo home run, as well as getting the win on the mound, allowing only one run while striking out five for Novi (17-10).

n At the Clarkston Tournament, Walled Lake Northern went 2-1 with wins coming over Bloomfield Hills Lahser, 10-8, and Howell, 8-1, before losing to Linden, 7-1, in the championship game. Brennan Williams went 6-for-9 with three runs scored and five RBI, Ted Lilley went 3-for-9 with four runs scored, two steals, and an RBI, Hunter VanMaley went 3-for-8 with two runs scored, and Brandon Brodman pitched seven innings against Howell, only surrendering one run and getting the win for Northern (22-8).

Softball

n At the Troy Athens Invitational, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep went 2-1 on the day with wins over Auburn Hills Avondale and Utica. Courtney Avromov and Katy Roose hit over .500 on the day while Gabby Fazio drove in both game winning runs on the day. Carly Joesph and Daniell Deiotte combined to give up just three earned runs in 21 innings on the day for the Fighting Irish.

n At the Madonna tournament, North Farmington finished the day with a perfect 3-0 record. Katy Severson picked up all three wins on the day in the circle, including a no-hitter in a 4-1 win over Milford, and combined for another no-hitter with Rachel Snabbes in a 9-0 win over Ypsilanti Lincoln. Severson also went 2-for-3 in the first two games and had three RBI total. Stephanie Strothers went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the first game and Nikki Wald went a 8-for-11 on the day with four runs scored. In the final game, Megan Keller hit a two-run home run while Jessica Sherman and Leah Koularus picked up a pair of hits.

n At the Dakota Invite, Rochester Adams went 2-1 on the day with wins coming over L’Anse Cruise, 5-2, and Macomb Lutheran North, 4-3. Ashley Durand had three hits , Kristen Noack had three hits and three RBI, Kelly McCasland went 2-0 on the mound with five strike outs, and Bre Polcyn had three hits, including two doubles, five RBI, and had the game winning double against Lutheran North for Adams (11-17).

n Southfield Christian 6-11, Berkley 6-3 — At Southfield, Maggie Bosler went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Rebekah Devine went 3-for-3 with a double an RBI, and Maria Varano got the win on the mound for Southfield Christian in the first game. In the second game, Alexis Hart went 3-for-4 with pair of runs scored and an RBI, Emily Thrasher went 2-for-4 with three RBI, and Maria Varano went 3-for-4 with a two run home run, as well as getting the win on the mound for Southfield Christian (14-5).

n At the Red Hawk Classic, Troy Athens went 3-0 on the day with wins coming over Ferndale, 12-0, Utica, 5-3, and Rochester, 1-0 in eight innings. Melissa Palmer went 8-for-10 with a triple, three RBI, including the winning run against Rochester in the championship game, Haley Zemmer went 7-for-9 with a home run, as well as getting all three wins on the mound, striking out a combined 25 batters, and Amanda Mildfelt added four RBI for Athens (28-5-1).

n At the Mustang Invitational, Oxford went 2-1 on the day with wins coming over North Branch, 5-1, and Bay City Central, 10-5. Cherilyn Banas went 7-for-12 with four runs scored, Cathy Edgemon went 5-for-9 with three RBI, and Autumn Cervantez added four RBI for Oxford.

n At the Madonna tournament, Walled Lake Northern finished the day with a 1-2 record with a 5-2 win over Lincoln Park. Corrina Rotondo struck out 14 batters in her three starts on the day and went 4-for-7 with five RBI and had a double. Megan Jerore went 5-for-9 with a triple while Sam Kern went 4-for-9 on the day with a double.

n Troy 0, Birmingham Detroit Country Day 0 — At Bloomfield Hills, Rachel Bergman made 12 saves on the day for Country Day while Alison Holland made six saves for Troy.
