HOCKEY: Bloomfield Chargers power past L'Anse Creuse

The Bloomfield Chargers sored early and often en route to a convincing 7-1 win, Saturday night, over L'Anse Creuse at the Great Lakes Sports Arena.

Bloomfield opened the scoring at 13:53 of the first period with a goal from Connor Holman with assists from John Artemenko and Neal Krentz.

L'Anse Creuse came back with the equalizer on a powerplay goal from Willete.

The tie would not last for long as Bloomfield came back with two goals (Chase Smith and Brendan McAlister) to close out the first period. Assists came from Kevin Barnett, Griffin Check, and McAlister.

Bloomfield opened up the thirrd with a quick powerplay goal from Krentz who was assisted by Artemenko and Jacob Rosenzweig. Bloomfield kept the pressure on and netted two more powerplay goals (Rosenzweig and McAlister) in the period with assists coming from Settecerri, Mike Calvas, Krentz, and Brian Keener.

Bloomfield wrapped up scoring with a final goal from McAlister who was assisted by Smith.

In all Bloomfield had points from 11 different players.

Jacob Ruby turned away 19 of 20 shots for the win.

Bloomfield improved its record to 8-7 with the win and will face Royal Oak on Friday.
