ROCHESTER – In girls soccer action, Just 51 seconds before the half, Haley Wentzloff scored on a free kick from 25 yards out. Rochester Adams topped Rochester 2-0 on Monday.

With the win, Adams secured the OAA Red title.

Sara Samolinski added the insurance tally with 29.06 to play in the game as she knocked in a rebound off another free kick from outside the left hashmark.

Maggie Rogers collected the shutout in goal for the Highlanders.

Both teams have one non-league game remaining with Adams hosting Birmingham Marian on Wednesday and Rochester traveling to New Baltimore Anchor Bay on Thursday.

The Falcons and Highlanders will compete in districts which will be held at Stoney Creek next week.

- Ortonville Brandon 3, Holly 0 – At Ortonville, Sarah Abbott, Allison Keller and Sydney Hickmott added a goal for Brandon.

- Walled Lake Central 8, Westland John Glenn 0 - At Westland, Ivanna Perez-Diaz, Kayla Quinn and Lauren Wasiak each scored two goals while Amanda Britain added a goal and Nikki Davis contributed an assist for Central (8-8-2).

- Royal Oak 1, Birmingham Groves 0 - At Birmingham, The Ravens get the shutout win,

- Troy Athens 4, Oxford 0 – At Troy, Alli Leonard had a goal and an assist. Ashley Leonard, Jordyn Rauser and Skyla Gebauer had a goal. Brooke Russell and Sierra Gillies had an assist. Julia Lower recorded the shutout for Athens.

- Royal Oak 1, Birmingham Groves 0 - Junior June Donnellon scored for Royal Oak, with an assist going to junior Lucy Donnellon. Senior Charity Rutter picked up the shutout in goal for the Ravens (3-11-2).

- South Lyon 2, Milford 0 - Rachael Sweigard had a goal and an assist. Lexi Bowman scored a goal for South Lyon.


- Royal Oak Shrine 10, Ferndale 2 – At Ferndale, Sean Ruhle recorded the win with four innings pitched six strikeouts and one unearned run on no hits. Tom Peaslee went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two stolen bases. Trevor Piazzon went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Jack Salerno went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Jack Whitmore went 1-for-2 with an RBI for Shrine (20-10). Shrine faces Lamphere on Friday.

- Royal Oak 7, Berkley 4 – At Berkley, Hayden Haran had two hits. Dan Romito had a hit and an RBI. Sean Marshall and Jamie Bartelotti had an RBI. Bartelotti and Sean Marshall had two stolen bases. Rob DeBastos added an RBI. David Lundeen pitched a complete game for Royal Oak (19-6) allowing four hits, and one earned run and added five strikeouts. Josh Litchman added a hit and Kyle Domzalski and Blake Ratliff split time pitching for Berkley.

- Rochester 6, Madison Heights Bishop Foley 0 - At Madison Heights, Thomas Loftus had a double and scored two runs. Noah Stout had two hits and an RBI. Jacob Jackson pitched a complete game giving up just five hits and grabbing six strikeouts for Rochester (22-10).

- Livonia Stevenson 2, Birmingham Groves 0 - At Beverly Hills, Branden Posky struck out 11 for Stevenson (28-7) while Devin Dunn and George Ferguson led the offense. Max Novick took the loss on Senior Night. Xavier Warren went 2-for-3 for Groves (28-5).

- Clarkston Everest Collegiate 13, Goodrich 12 – At Clarkston, Mitchel Rozwadowski had two hits. Grant Burgess added four RBI. Everest scored 12 runs in the final three innings of the contest.

- Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 8-9, Charyl Stockwell Academy 1-3 - Make Sweeney added three hits and three RBI for Oakland Christian.

- Troy 9, Stoney Creek 2 - At Rochester Hills, Cater Scillion went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Josh Corsello went 2-for-3 with a walk. Mario Gaudino went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Scott Mittelbrun pitched six innings, giving up four hits, two runs, one earned, one walk and one strikeout for Troy (17-15).

- Lakeland 3. Livonia Franklin 2 - At Livonia, Grant Smith picked up the win while Conner Snell notched the save. Cade Parmenter led the offense for Lakeland.


- Center Line 10, Royal Oak 0 – At Center Line, Sierra Randle went 2-for-2 with a double. Marissa Krynak pitched in the circle for the Ravens.

- Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 3, Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 2 - At Rochester Hills, Madison Macy pitched a complete game, striking out 10. Grace Van Dellen tripled, Ali Magiera doubled and stole four bases and Rebecca Oleski had a hit, and RBI and a run scored for Northwest (15-3).

- Madison Heights Lamphere 13, Warren Mott 6 – At Warren, Rachael Schorn had two hits and two RBI and got the win in the circle. LeeAnna Radick had a hit, an RBI and scored getting the save in the MAC crossover game. Ashley McKigney went 3-for-4 with three RBI and also had hits from Sarah McGinnis, Sarah Barrett, Elissia Vecere, Alexis Wark and Shaylia Richardson. Brianna Murphy and Ally Maldian had multiple hits for Warren Mott.

- Holly 5-9, Ortonville Brandon 1-4 – At Ortonville, Madisen Beesley pitched two complete games and added a home run. Katie Dewey and Hailey Thompson had a home run apiece. Gillian Cohoon and Lilly Raymer also added clutch hits and Thompson played strong defense at third base for the Bronchos (9-3 FML).

- Rochester Adams 4-14, Auburn Hills Avondale 1-14 - At Rochester Hills, In game one, Brynna Garden and Emma Curran each had two hits while Hannah Tyree recorded the win. In the nightcap, Sarah Judas drove in two runs and Maggie Gasiorowski and Brynna Garden each added two hits for Adams (12-17)

- Novi Franklin Road Christian 11, Lutheran Westland 10 - At Westland, Kayla Nannoshi pitched seven innings with six strikeouts giving up just three earned runs. Ally Broadright went 4-for-5 with a double and scored three runs. Gabrielle McKeever went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Franklin Road (10-3, 9-1 MIAC Red). Northwest claimed the co-conference championship with Huron Valley Lutheran in the victory.

- Oxford 5, Lakeland 4 - At Lakeland, Hannah Vachon had three hits and Kenzie Miller chipped in with two hits. Chloe Allen had two RBI. Kaitlyn Bean recorded the win on the mound and Vachon picked up a two inning save.

- Troy Athens 12-6, Troy 3-0 - At Troy, Lanie Ellinger tossed a four-hitter with six strikeouts. Katie McGarry was 3-for-4 with a double for the Red Hawks. Mikayla Kirtland, Karlie Peplinski, Sydney Wickersham and Rachel Van Proeyen each had two hits. Troy's Clare Urban had two hits and Saeha Lederle doubled for the Colts. In the second game, Ellinger pitched a complete game and allowed only two hits with four strikeouts. Jillian Laudenslazer was 2-for-3 with a double and Van Proeyen was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Julia Calnen doubled for the Colts.

Boys Lacrosse

- Clarkston 17, Waterford United 0 - Drew Vandenburg scored four goals and had an assist. Keagan King had two goals and an assist. Jordon Sommerville had five goals for Clarkston.

- Oxford 16, Lapeer 2 – At Oxford, Giovanni DeBlasi made 19 saves. Spencer Petoskey had five goals and three assists. Garrett Stuk added three goals and two assists. Dryden Calcaterra grabbed two goals and four assists. Gavin Fritz added two goals and an assist. Thomas Wandrie scored twice and Robert Rodriguez and Sam Urban added a goal for Oxford.

- Jordon Sommerville, Clarkston boys lacrosse - Sommerville scored five goals as Clarkston defeated Waterford United 17-0 on Monday.
