ROCHESTER - In baseball action, Jacob Jackson threw a complete game no-hitter with four strikeouts as Rochester topped Rochester Adams 8-0 on Monday.

In the opener, Rochester scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Mark Matynka went 3-for-4 and Ryan Gladstone and Ben Compton each added two hits for Rochester.

In the second suspended game, Tyler Frankhouse hit a three-run home run for the Falcons. Rochester holds an 11-5 lead in the sixth inning. The contest will be resumed on Wednesday.

- Troy Athens 4, Auburn Hills Avondale 3 - At Troy, Ben Rice recorded the win while Joe Stark drove in the winning run. Sean McConnell added two hits for Athens (9-10). William Fahoome led Avondale with two hits.

- Troy 4-14, Notre Dame Prep 2-4 At Troy, In the first game, Aaron Sexton went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Scott Mittelbrun went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Sexton recorded the win on the mound as he pitched four and a third innings with three hits, two unearned runs, a walk and five strikeouts for Troy. In the second six inning game, Connor Wilson went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Stephen McAvoy went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Adam Booth recorded the win on the mound for Troy (13-14, 6-6 OAA Blue)

- Royal Oak Shrine 9, Taylor Prep 0 At Taylor, Tom Peaslee went 3-for-5 with two doubles and recorded the win on the mound. He threw five innings, with 12 strikeouts and allowed just one hit. Jack Salerno went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Cam Eckert went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI Eckert added a scoreless inning of relief. Brennan Carr went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Jay Hester went 2-for-4 with a n RBI and a scoreless inning of relief. Trevor Piazzon went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Shrine (16-8). Shrine faces Allen Park Cabrini in a doubleheader on Tuesday.

- Waterford Kettering 5, Pinckney 4 - At Pinckney, Jacob Rosser struck out six and pitched a complete game while John Hess and Nick Brown each had two hits for Kettering (8-18).

- Hartland 9, Walled Lake Western 1 - Max Hendricks pitched five innings, gave up five hits and recorded six strikeouts. Hunter Delanoy went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Jake Moyer went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Hartland.

- Clarkston Everest Collegiate 10, Ferndale 9 – At Ferndale, Ryan Smith, Alexander Earnhardt and Nino Mastromatteo each had two hits. Luke Luttinen had two walks. Mastromatteo, Thomas Thibodeau and Ethan Dexter had two RBI. Mastromatteo recorded the win on the mound and Mitchel Rozwadowski had the save for Everest. Jacob Sologar pitched five and a third innings with four strikeouts for Ferndale.

- Madison Heights Lamphere 10, St. Clair Shores Lake Shore 0 – At St. Clair, Caleb Liske (2 RBI), Drew Durant and James Grams (2 RBI) had two hits apiece. Preston Young threw a complete game shutout with four strikeouts for Lamphere.

- Novi 4, Livonia Churchill 1 - Novi topped Churchill in a KLAA crossover (13-17-1).

- Bloomfield Hills 4-3, Berkley 1-2– At Berkley, In the first game, Alex McCormack had two hits. Jack Luer and Andrew Denk had a hit. Max Rosenfeld, Dugan Fife and Luer had an RBI. Jacob Henry pitched a complete game and grabbed six strikeouts for Bloomfield Hills. Davis Austin pitched a complete game with three strikeouts for Berkley. - Southfield A&T 13, Royal Oak 5 - At Southfield, Christian Blakely and Tony Lyons were on the mound for Southfield while Tony Lyons, Aaron Parker and Werner Blakely each had four hits for A&T. David Lundeen took the loss (4-2) pitching two and two third innings. He was followed to the mound by Ethan Davis, Abe Vincil, and Hayden Haran. Sean Marshall, Lundeen, Brennan Harbert and Jake Isaacson collected an RBI for the Ravens (13-4, 8-1).

- Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood 10, Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 2 - At Bloomfield Hills, Ken Schumacher and Jack Hollander combined for nine strikeouts while Jack Fairman and Jacob Yellen led the offense for Cranbrook-Kingswood.

- Auburn Hills Avondale 15-6, Stoney Creek 2-4 (From Saturday) - In the first game, Tyler LaMendola hit a two-run home run for the Cougars. In the second game, LaMendola, Isaac McKay, and Trevor Hunsanger each had two hits for Stoney Creek.

- West Bloomfield 9, Lakeland 5 - (From Saturday) Connor Snell hit a grand slam.

- Lakeland 9, Farmington 4 - (From Saturday) Jack Dungan recorded the win on the mound with six innings pitched giving up just one earned run. Grant Burns went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Eagles.

Softball

- Plymouth 5, South Lyon 0 — At Canton, Plymouth jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning of Monday’s consolation crossover between the co-champions of the KLAA South and KLAA Central divisions, and won by the same margin. The Lions (24-7) were held to just one hit in the loss. Alexis Bonk struck out nine in six innings of work.

- Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 6, Southfield Christian 2 – At Southfield, Grace Gilson took the tough loss as she gave up no earned runs on four hits, one walk and six strikeouts. Offensively she went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and an RBI. Tiara Francisco went 4-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Emma Paryaski went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Maranda Sailor and Lexi Prestel added hits for the Eagles.

- Oxford 5-4, North Branch 1-0 – At Oxford, In the first game, Sarah Tyrrell and Kenzie Miller each had two hits for Oxford (18-5). Chloe Allen, Lauren Donaldson and Maddy Morris all chipped in with hits at the plate. Kaitlyn Bean pitched a complete game two hitter with 10 strikeouts. In the second game, Chloe Allen, Maddy Morris, and Sarah Tyrrell each had two hits. Hannah Vachon pitched a complete game two-hitter with 12 strikeouts for Oxford.

- Linden 16-3, Holly 7-8 – The Bronchos earned the split in the contest thanks to some timely hitting (7-3 FML).

- Farmington 4-8, Birmingham Seaholm 1-2 – At Birmingham, In the first game, Robyn Banks pitched a complete game giving up just one run, one walk and two hits to go along with 18 strikeouts. Danielle Petras had an RBI. Kennedy Rogers and Emily Moilanen also added an RBI. In the second game, Banks pitched another complete game giving up just two runs, seven hits and recording seven strikeouts. Petras hit a three-run home run with a double, single and three runs scored. Haylee Butka and Caitlin Sheltrown recorded an RBI single respectively. Abbie Radomski added a double and two RBI for Farmington.

- Rochester Adams 10-17, West Bloomfield 0-7 – At West Bloomfield, Hannah Tyree pitched a shutout with five strikeouts. Brenna Swiftney 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI. Abby Wocniak went 2-for-3 with a run scored and RBI. Maggie Gasiorowski 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Sarah Judis, Emma Curran had two hits, a run and an RBI and Mary Nash had two hits and two RBI. In the nightcap, Kate Hartway went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI. Lindsay Densmore went 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Payton Martin went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Swiftney went had two hits, three runs and two RBI. Gasiorowski had two hits, two runs and two RBI. Sarah Judis, Curran and Nash contributed offensively. Curran recorded the win in the circle.Tyree pitched one and a third innings to close out the game for Adams (8-12).

- Waterford Kettering 8, Milford 5 - At Waterford, Madison French struck out 14 and Barbara Strahan and Taylor Reno each had two hits for Kettering (18-11).

- Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 10, New Haven 1 - At Rochester Hills, Madison Macy recorded the win, striking out 12. Ali Magiera homered twice, tripled and knocked in four runs and Dani Wilusz added three RBI for Northwest (12-3).

- Royal Oak 8, Warren Woods Tower 7 – At Warren, Emily Alton threw four and a third innings as she gave up eight hits, and recorded four strikeouts. Marissa Krynak pitched the rest of the game as she gave up just one hit and recorded six strikeouts. Hannah Lefave went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Krynak added a hit and an RBI. Mallory Dubay went 1-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI. Annie Rabon, Casey Meissner, and Brianna Pemberton each picked up a hit for Royal Oak.

- Livonia Franklin 10, Novi 9 – At Livonia, Ally Cummings went 3-for-4. Ireland Whalen went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Ashley Yarberry had a double and a home run for the Wildcats.

- Walled Lake Northern 4, Hartland 3 – At Walled Lake, Cassie Frankowiak recorded the win as she threw a complete game, on three runs, five hits and four strikeouts for Northern. Madelin Skene took the loss for the Eagles. She pitched six innings, gave up four runs, seven hits, a walk and recorded six strikeouts. Hannah Moruad went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run. Delanie Grundman added a home run for Hartland. Hannah Bunker, Kelsey Stachowski and Ashley Komosinski each collected multiple hits for Walled Lake Northern.

- Warren Woods Tower 6, Wixom St. Catherine 2 - At Wixom, Megan Cermak went 2-for-2 with a walk. Maddie Campagna went 1-for-3 with a run scored for the Stars.

- Walled Lake Western 6, Grand Blanc 5 - At Walled Lake, Julia Barrett was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and hit the game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh inning. Leah Kraweic had two run scored and was the winning run that crossed the plate for the Warriors.

- Auburn Hills Avondale 20, Troy Athens 10 – At Troy, Avondale took the high-scoring win at home.

- (From Saturday) - Birmingham Detroit Country Day won the Petoskey Softball Tournament, To get to the championship game, they defeated ranked teams Indian River Inland Lakes 4-2 and Holton 7-5. In the finals, Jacqueline Spizizen threw a perfect game as the Yellowjackets defeated host Petoskey 8-0 in five innings.

- Berkley 11, Southfield Christian 4 (From Saturday) - Emma Paryaski pitched a complete game with four and two thirds with six hits and five strikeouts. On offense, Paryaski went 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Tiara Francisco went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Madison King scored two runs on two hit by pitch. Miranda Sailor went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Olivia Paryaski, Lexi Prestel and Grace Gilson added a hit and Gilson scored a run.

- Northville 9, Dearborn 1 (From Saturday) - Sydney Schembri had three goals and an assist. Sarah Noonan added three assists. Lauren Sibley scored a goal. Erica Toupin and Haley Brass added a goal and an assist. Chelsea Edgar and Karina Moore had an assist. Tara Beason had two goals. Roan Haines had a goal for Northville.

Boys Lacrosse

- Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 12, Okemos 10 (From Saturday) - Ryan Genord added five goals and two assists. Danny Caton added three goals and an assist. Boys Golf

- Novi Detroit Catholic Central won the CHSL title with a team score of 290. Dyllan Skinner (69); James Piot (73); Sean Sooch (73) and Sam Holland (75) led the way for the Shamrocks.

- Hartland finished fourth with a team score of 325 at Muskegon CC. Nic Hoffman, Mitchell Cotten and Dylan Huck shot an 81 while Alex Willis added an 82 for the Eagles.

- Utica 5, Madison Heights Lamphere 3 – At Utica, Suzanne Awali-Vy Tran; Meghan Brink- Joelyanna Hirmiz; Jenna Truong-Sara Awali recorded wins at two, three and four doubles for Lamphere (9-2-3, 4-0-1).

- (From Saturday) Milford finished in seventh place with 43 points in the KLAA Lakes Conference Championship. A.J Costanzo, all-conference in the high jump (4th, 5-10). Gunnar Gustafson, Isaac Phillips, Carson Jensen and Josh Deradoorian (3rd, 1600 Relay, 3:26.18).

Girls Track and Field

- (From Saturday) Milford finished in second place with 89 points in the KLAA Lakes Conference Championship. Mallory Barrett won the high jump (5-4), 1,600 (4:54.86) and anchored the first place 1600 relay team which also included Abby Knapp, Victoria Heiligenthal and Breann Marsh (4:03.25). Barrett and Heligenthal also took second and third in the 800 with times of 2:15.20 and 2:15.75, respectively. Heiligenthal also added a third in the 1,600 (4:56.85). Milford recorded top 10 state marks in the 1,600 relay, as well as Barrett and Heiligenthal in both the 800 and 1,600.

- Julia Barrett, Walled Lake Western softball - Barrett was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and hit the game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Warriors edged Grand Blanc 6-5 on Monday.
