FARMINGTON - In baseball action, Artie Bentley went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored as Farmington grabbed a 10-7 victory over North Farmington on Wednesday.

Tom Williamson recorded the win in relief as he pitched three and two thirds innings giving up one unearned run, recorded two hits and had five strikeouts.

Matt Lane had two RBI for Farmington (11-4, 3-2 OAA White).

Jared Fish went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for North Farmington (0-5 OAA White).

- Birmingham Brother Rice 15-3, Novi Detroit Catholic Central 3-3 - At Novi, Carlos Tumpkin dealt five shutout innings in which he struck out seven for Brother Rice. The second game was called after seven innings with the game tied, 3-3.

- Rochester 12, Clarkston 2 – At Clarkston, Thomas Loftus, Drew Loftus, Luke Kastran and Matt Hawke all had two hits, Mark Matyka had a home run and Jacob Jackson recorded the win on the mound for Rochester (9-7, 4-2).

- Birmingham Groves 15, Farmington Hills Harrison 0 (4 Innings) - At Beverly Hills, Chaise Ford went 1-for-1 with a grand slam, a sacrifice fly, two runs scored and five RBI. George Cutler went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run. Andrew Martin went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and two RBI. John Kowalchuk went 2-for-2 with a triple. Noah Zacharias went 1-for-1 at the plate. On the mound, he threw all four innings, giving up two hits, two walks, and had two strikeouts for Groves (9-1, 4-1 OAA White). Jacob Thomas recorded a double for Harrison (5-8).

- Troy Athens 10-3, Berkley 3-8 - At Troy, after Athens won the opener, Blake Ratliff allowed three runs in six innings pitched and Wyatt Deeds contributed a grand slam on offense for Berkley in game two. Kyle Domzalski went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. David Austin went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Zach Gregorich went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Jeremy Murphy drove in a pair of runs for Athens.

- Lakeland 8-11, Walled Lake Western 0-1 - At White Lake, in the first game, Spencer Schorling threw a complete game and gave up no runs on two hits and struck out seven while walking none, Nathan Reuter was 2-for-3 with two runs scored on offense, Grant Smith went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Grant Burns was 3-for-3 with two RBI for Lakeland. In the six-inning nightcap, Cass Phillips pitched a complete game, allowing an earned run on four hits while striking out seven and walking none, Trent Farquhar added two hits and a pair of RBI and Cade Parmeter chipped in with two hits and two RBI for Lakeland (11-3). Western was led in the nightcap by Cody White, who finished 2-for-3 with a run scored.

- Stoney Creek 2, Oxford 1 - At Rochester Hills, pitching a complete game for the home team, the winning pitcher was Tanner Dean with four hits, five strikeouts, one walk and one earned run. Max Jani had two hits and an RBI. Hunter Desantis scored the game-winning run. Doug Propson was 2-for-3. Ben Gingell gave up six hits, two earned runs and five strikeouts. Braun Mayette went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Zak Schwerin and Anthony D'Alessandro all recorded a hit for Oxford.

- Ortonville Brandon 14, Clarkston Everest Collegiate 5 – At Clarkston, Josh Manfroni recorded his second win of the season pitching three scoreless innings without giving up a hit. Ryan Beauchamp went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, four runs scored and three RBI. Dusty Dickens had two hits and three RBI for Brandon.

- Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 8-8, Detroit U-D Jesuit 5-2 – At Detroit, In the first game, Dillon Kark went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored and recorded the win on the mound. He pitched six innings, three hits, two earned runs and recorded seven strikeouts. Blake Bean went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Anthony Marcon went 1-for-3 with one run scored and two RBI. In the second game, Logan Wood pitched six and one third innings as he gave up two hits, two earned runs and recorded 10 strikeouts. Damon Leja went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Cole Sidley went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI. Kark added three runs scored for OLSM (7-11). St. Mary’s faces Dearborn Divine Child on Saturday.

- Walled Lake Northern 10-7, Waterford Kettering 0-0 – At Walled Lake, in the first six inning game, Zack Northcott threw a complete game shutout as he gave up just three hits and recorded four strikeouts. Bob Jones went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI and two stolen bases. Landon Hunt went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Jake Frelich went 1-for-2 with an RBI and stolen base. In the second game, A.J. Sterling pitched a complete game giving up just one hit and recording six strikeouts. Nick Powell went 1-for-1 with a walk and RBI and three stolen bases. Cooper VanMaele and Bob Jones added a hit and an RBI for the Knights (9-5, 4-3 KLAA).

- Walled Lake Central 9-11, Waterford Mott 6-4 - At Waterford, in the first game, Pierson Hoy went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Dominic Vigliarolo went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Jacob Downey added a home run. Matt Pfeiffer had a pair of RBI. Drew Henig recorded the win for Central. In the second game, Drew Temple went 2-for-4. Hoy went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI. Pfeiffer had a home run. Christian Hakim went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Henig went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI for Central.

- Lutheran Westland 8, Southfield Christian 4 - (From Tuesday) At Southfield, David Johnson notched two hits and scored a run. Jake Devine and Seth Denison each provided a double, Matthew Zielinski finished with a pair of RBI, Ian Hanafee totaled a hit and an RBI and Matthew Guerra dealt five innings in relief in which he allowed no earned runs for Southfield Christian (1-5 overall, 1-1 MIAC).


- Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 12, Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 10 - Rebekah Crane was 5-for-5 with a double, three RBI, three stolen bases and three runs scored at the plate while also striking out eight in the circle, Olivia Mandziuk finished 2-for-3 with a pair of walks and a run scored, Nicole Vaught totaled two hits, a stolen base and three runs driven in and Mackenzie Saylor chipped in with two hits, a walk, a stolen base and an RBI for Oakland Christian (0-1).

- Milford 11-19, Pinckney 7-2 - At Pinckney, in the opener, Riley Simlar provided two RBI and Allison Smith, Koryn Pennebaker, Kayla Pennebaker, Hailey Curtis and Paige Grass all totaled multiple hits for Milford. In the three-inning nightcap, Audrey Petoskey totaled two singles, a home run and four RBI, Jenna Carlisle earned the win in the circle, Koryn Pennebaker, Kayla Pennebaker, Amelia Price and Riley Simlar all contributed multiple hits for Milford.

- Birmingham Groves 14, Madison Heights Lamphere 4 – At Madison Heights, Alexis Wark had a triple. Ashley McKingney and Elissia Vecere recorded a double and an RBI for Lamphere (9-2, 1-1).

- Waterford Kettering 9-1, Walled Lake Northern 2-5 – At Walled Lake, In the first game, Maddie French had a home run. Maddy Garza had a home run for Kettering. Hannah Bunker went 2-for-3. Courtney Callahan went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run. In the second game, Bunker went 2-for-2 with a double. Mckenzie Knight recorded the win for Northern (6-2).

- Madison Heights Lamphere 2, Clawson 1 – At Clawson, Corrie Seng and Alexa Reinbold scored a goal for Lamphere (6-0-2, 5-0-1).

- Holly 2, Clio 1 – At Holly, Victoria Karakuc and Payton Price added a goal for Holly. Sami Hild had two assists. Amy Scruggs, Sam Peters, Jackie Compton and Lexie Curtis played strong games in the win for Holly (5-1-4, 3-0-0 FML).

- Northville 5, South Lyon East 0 (From Tuesday) - At Northville, Sydney Schembri scored twice and Megan Williams, Karina Moore and Abby Gardiner each added a goal for the Mustangs. Carlie Castiglione earned her third shutout of the year in net for Northville (3-4-2).

- Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 10, Oxford 6 (From Tuesday) - At Oxford, Danny Caton recorded three goals and Jonathon Chabot and Ryan Genord each contributed two goals for the Irish (6-3).

- Hartland 17, Howell 8 (From Tuesday) - Cam Veto scored three goals and added an assist. Steven Payter scored three goals. Maveric Muscat added two goals and an assist for Hartland.

Girls Lacrosse

- Birmingham United 20, Clarkston 4 - At Birmingham, Danielle Augier led her team scoring six goals, Grace Murray added four goals. Teammate Meryl Feys contributed three goals. Grace Fischer netted a goal with four assists and Kate Wujciak scored two. Birmingham United is now 6-6.

- Hartland 21, Grand Blanc 2 - At Grand Blanc, Hartland earned the win.

- Birmingham Marian 14, Flint Powers Catholic 7 (From Tuesday) - At Birmingham, Lauren Cosgrove totaled four goals while Kaylin Meehan scored three goals, Emily Frye and Amanda Timmis each tallied two goals and Carrine Jarvis made 14 saves in net for Marian.
