SOUTHFIELD - In softball action, Emma Paryaski (3-0) had an outstanding day in the circle once again as she recorded 17 strikeouts which tied the school record in a 6-1 win over Birmingham Marian on Monday.

Paryaski has reached the 17 strikeout marker for the third time in her career.

Grace Gilson supplied much of the Eagles offense with four doubles, three RBI and a run scored. Tiara Francisco had two hits, including a double, while scoring two runs. Maranda Sailor added a two-run single for Southfield Christian (5-0).

Ary Dadabbo hit a home run in the first inning for the Mustangs.

- Madison Heights Lamphere 6, Sterling Heights 5 (8 innings) - At Sterling Heights, the Rams remained unbeaten as Ashley McKigney singled in the go-ahead run. Rachael Schorrn, who scored the winning run, struck out the last two batters to secure the win. Josie Lukas had an RBI double and Shaylia Richardson drove in two runs for Lamphere (9-0. 1-0).

- Hartland 10, Walled Lake Western 1 - At Hartland, Madelin Skene pitched a complete game allowing just one run, five hits, one walk and recording eight strikeouts. Clare Minsker, Skene, Ryleigh Norton, Miranda Millington, and Nagel each collected multiple hits for the Eagles

- Holly 15-14, Flushing 0-1 - At Holly, the Bronchos were lead in the first game by a one hit shutout by Madison Beesley and timely hitting by the entire team. Katie Dewey provided excellent offense and defense in the second game for Holly (3-1).

- Milford 11, Waterford Mott 6 - At Milford, Hailey Curtis earned the win in the circle, as she tossed six innings, giving up three runs, nine hits, striking out four, and walking one. Audrey Petoskey went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Mavericks.

- Walled Lake Northern 12, Brighton 7 - At Brighton, Hannah Bunker went 3-for-5 with three steals, Kaycee Loehr went 3-for-5 and Mackenzie Muncy added two hits for Northern (5-1).

- Walled Lake Central 10, Pinckney 8 - At Walled Lake, Christine Wertman went 3-for-4 with two singles and one home run and Payton Faber also went 3-for-4 with two singles and one double. Jessica Kreuzer picked up the win for Central (2-4 KLAA).

- Madison Heights Bishop Foley 5-12, Macomb Lutheran North 4-2 - At Macomb, Emilee Dover was the opening-game winner with 11 strikeouts. Mary Myers provided the game-winning hit, driving in two runs in the seventh. In the nightcap, Brooke Imrick recorded the win with 11 strikeouts. Dover was 4-for-4 with three RBI, Elle Laurencelle was 3-for-3 with four RBI and Geena Sinagoga was 2-for-4 with three RBI. Foley is now 6-2 in the intersectional of CHSL and 6-3 overall.


- Plymouth Christian 12, Southfield Christian 2 - At Southfield, Seth Denison had two hits and two stolen bases while Niko Varano and Kameron Terry would each have hits of their own. Matt Zielinski would score the Eagles only other run. The Eagles fall to 1-5.

- Lakeland 11, Grand Blanc 2 – At Grand Blanc, Grant Smith recorded the win on the mound, pitching five innings and giving up two runs. Grant Burns recorded three hits, two runs scored and three RBI for the Eagles (8-3). Trent Farquhar added two hits, a run scored and an RBI.

- Auburn Hills Avondale 8, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood 4 - At Auburn Hills, Jake Pershern picked up the win, striking out 12. Conner Gubariu hit a two-run homer, Will Muller went 2-for-3 and Dan Ozerities added two hits for Avondale (10-6).

- Hartland 2, Walled Lake Western 1 – At Hartland, Max Hendricks went 3-for-3 with two triples and an RBI. Kyle Kletzka pitched a scoreless seventh inning to record the save for Hartland.

- Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 7, Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 6 – Zac Erwin recorded a three-run home run for the Lakers.

- Birmingham Detroit Country Day 5, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 3 - At Beverly Hills, Andrew Toma tossed five innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out two, to earn the win. Steve Mann had a double and two walks and Sajjan Desai supplied two hits for Country Day (14-1).

- Rochester 10-4, Clarkston 0-1 - At Rochester, Albert Nagy tossed a complete-game shutout in the opener and the Falcons went on to record a doubleheader sweep. Noah Stout supplied three hits and four RBI and Drew Loftus chipped in two RBI in the opener. Mark Matynka homered and got the pitching win in the nightcap. Thomas Loftus, Ryan Gladstone and Ben Compton each added two hits for Rochester (8-7).

- Bloomfield Hills 5, Troy 4 – At Troy, Patrick Najor recorded the win on the mound. C.J. Drogosch had two doubles and two RBI. Ben Jerris had a triple and a single with an RBI for Bloomfield Hills (8-2, 1-1). Scott Mittelbrun hit a home run for Troy (2-2 OAA).

- Berkley 2, Troy Athens 1 – At Troy, David Austin recorded the win on the mound with a complete game, giving up just one run and recording nine strikeouts. Jake Serwa went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Drake Monroe went 1-for-2 with an RBI for Berkley. Troy Athens leads the suspended game two 5-3 in the top of the sixth inning. The game will be completed on Wednesday.

- Farmington Hills Harrison 3-1, Birmingham Groves 0-3 - At Farmington Hills, Victor Mencotti threw a complete-game three-hitter with eight strikeouts in Harrison’s first-game victory. He also drove in two runs during the Hawks’ three-run third. Xavier Warren and Connor Bradbury recorded a hit and a walk for Groves. In the nightcap, Chaise Ford gave up just one run on two hits in six innings with seven strikeouts for the Falcons (7-1, 3-1 OAA White). Ford also had two hits, a run scored and an RBI. John Kowalchuk had two hits and Andrew Martin added a hit and recorded the save for Groves.

- Royal Oak Shrine 15-12, Detroit Cristo Rey 0-0 - At Royal Oak, In the first game three inning game, Brennan Carr went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Jay Hester went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Cam Eckert went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Ben Wright went 3-for-3 and recorded the win on the mound. In the five inning game nightcap, Trevor Piazzon went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Carr went 3-for-3 with an RBI. Luke Jones and Sean Ruhle had a hit and an RBI. Tom Peaslee recorded the win on the mound as he pitched two innings and recorded six strikeouts for Shrine (6-4, 4-0 CHSL). Cristo Rey didn’t record a hit in the doubleheader.

- Linden 16-0, Ortonville Brandon 4-2 - At Brandon, Jared Halteman tossed a complete-game two-hit shutout in the second game. Kyle Pawlaczyk hit a two-run HR in the bottom of the sixth to break the scoreless deadlock.

- Marine City 7-2, Madison Heights Lamphere 1-3 - At Madison Heights, In the nightcap, Noah Fisher hit a walk-off three-run home run for Lamphere. Zach Hilliard recorded three innings of solid relief (4-11, 1-4).

Girls Soccer

- Ferndale 6, Redford Union 1 - At Ferndale, Daphne Wilson scored twice and Lydia McKee had a goal and three assists as the Eagles (1-4) notched their first victory. Miah Ellis, Isabel Kolanowski and Mackenzie Thornton also scored, with Thornton chipped in an assist.

- Hazel Park 8, Pontiac 0 - At Hazel Park, Kara Martin scored four goals, giving her 13 on the season. Liz Sterner added three goals and Kaitlin Meachem recorded the shutout in net for Hazel Park (5-2).

- Madison Heights Lamphere 5, Marine City 0 - At East China, Ava Riley and Morgan Wands each scored two goals while Destiny Carr added a goal for Lamphere (5-0-2).

-Bloomfield Hills 3, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 2 - At Bloomfield Hills, Christian Hickson scored twice and Sydney Huston added a goal for Bloomfield Hills (5-1).

- Lake Orion 4, Farmington Hills Harrison 0 - At Farmington Hills, Paige Goodman had two goals for Lake Orion (5-3). Jordyn Marchese and Lily Cady had the other goals.

- Ortonville Brandon 1, Fenton 0 – At Fenton, Allie Keller scored the lone goal of the game for Brandon.

- Lakeland 2, Walled Lake Central 1 – At White Lake, Megan Reiter added two goals. Megan Loney recorded an assist for the Eagles.

- Birmingham Seaholm 2, West Bloomfield 0 – At Birmingham, Cate Brown and Zoe Gaffney had a goal for the Maples. Olivia Graham added an assist and Jillian Shefferly recorded the four save shutout for the Maples. Seaholm plays Pontiac tomorrow.

- Saginaw Heritage Invitational - (On Saturday) Northville played three matches in the tournament at finished 2-0-1. The Mustangs (3-4-2) edged Midland 1-0 on Sydney Schembri’s game-winner later in the second half after she made a steal. Carlie Castiglione registered the shutout with two saves. The Mustangs then tied Linden 2-2. Megan Williams and Roan Haines scored for Northville and Kendall Dillon supplied an assist. Ellie Thallman saved five shots. Northville finished the day with a 3-0 win over Flushing. Lauren Sibley scored off a corner kick from Abby Gardiner for the first goal. Sibley scored again after Kendall Dillon’s corner kick. Sarah Noonan scored the final goal off Nikki Buie’s assist. Castiglione notched her third shutout of the season with three saves.

- Northville 2, South Lyon 0 - (From Friday) At South Lyon, Kendall Dillon and Sarah Noonan scored the Mustangs while Ellie Thallman registered three saves in her first career shutout.

Boys Golf

- Novi Detroit Catholic Central competed in the Oakland Hills Invite and finished in first place with a score of 286. Top scorers for the Shamrocks included: Dylan Skinner (68); James Piot (72); Ben Smith (72) and Sean Sooch 74. Grosse Pointe South finished in second place with a score of 296.

- Stoney Creek shot a 359 at the Oakland Hills CC Tournament as Rob Mooney shot an 85 for the Cougars.

- PCCS Classic - (From Saturday) Ortonville Brandon wound up 19th in the tournament, led by Brett Hobson, whose score of 78 was seventh overall. Nic Hobson (95). Spencer Kochan (104) and Jacob Allen (109) and Colin Cooke (113) were the other top finishers for Brandon.

Girls Tennis

- Madison Heights Lamphere 4, Warren Mott 4 – At Warren, Makenzie Bowler, Dinh Luong, Min Li recorded wins in one, two and three singles respectively. Meghan Brink-Joleyana Hirmiz recorded the win at three doubles for Lamphere.

- Lapeer 6, Oxford 2 – At Oxford, Lauren Opalewski and Elle Wright recorded wins at one and four singles respectively for Oxford.

Boys Track and Field

- Ortonville Brandon Invitational - (From Saturday) Stoney Creek finished seventh in the event, which was won by Novi Detroit Catholic Central. For the Cougars, James Stirnemann and Seth Turner threw personal bests in the discus, while Cameron Tsivitse, Ryan Garman, and Brandon Tsivitse ran personal bests in the 3200M run.

Girls Track and Field

- Tri-County Invitational - (From Saturday) At Bloomfield Hills, the Blackhawks took fourth place. Brooke Kilyk won the high jump at 5’3’’. The 4x400 relay team (Alessia Fionda, Victoria Ciavarella, Kilyk, and Chelsea Cooks), Tricia Pierce in the pole vault, and Morgan Ross in the discus were also first-place finishers. The 4x100 (Crystal Snow, Cooks, Jessica Andrus, and Pierce) and 4x200 (Snow, Elivia Hearns, Andrus, and N'Josia Batiste) relay teams had second-place outings.

- Whitmore Lake Invitational - (From Saturday) Bloomfield Hills Roeper finished 12th as Alexis Johnson placed in both high jump and long jump.

- Victoria Lucido, Auburn Hills Oakland Christian girls soccer - Lucido scored five goals in the 8-0 win over Birmingham Roeper on Saturday.

- Noah Stout, Rochester baseball - Stout supplied three hits and four RBI in a 10-0 victory over Clarkston in the opener of a doubleheader on Monday. Rochester went on to complete a sweep.

- Grant Burns, Lakeland baseball - Burns had three hits, two runs scored and three RBI for the Eagles as they defeated Grand Blanc 11-2 on Monday.

- Emma Paryaski, Southfield Christian softball - Paryaski tied the school record with 17 strikeouts and gave up just two hits as the Eagles defeated Birmingham Marian 6-1 on Monday.
