FLUSHING - In girls soccer action, Kaitlin DuCharme and Gabby Gilmore eached scored a goal as Rochester dropped Flushing 2-0 on Wednesday.

Kaitlyn Godwin earned the shutout in net for Rochester.

- Milford 1, Westland John Glenn 0 – At Westland, Jessica Harper scored a goal and Reese Lanfear had an assist for Milford (2-1-1).

- North Farmington 3, Royal Oak 0 - (From Tuesday) At Farmington Hills, North Farmington led 2-0 at halftime and picked up the win.

- Waterford Mott 1, Salem 0 - At Salem, Kayli Loza scored the Mott goal assisted by Kendra Lewis. Tairyn Webb recorded the shutout. Waterford Mott is now 4-0 overall.

- Lake Fenton 4, Holly 2 (From Tuesday) - Payton Price and Emily Hartig scored a goal. Sami Hild added an assist and Lalli Valdovinos made eight saves for Holly (0-3-0).

- Lakeland 2, Westland John Glenn 0 - (From Monday) At White Lake, Melissa Brei and Megan Reiter each tallied a goal and Brooke Bruletti had a shutout in net for Lakeland.

Baseball

- Madison Heights Bishop Foley 4, Sterling Heights Stevenson 0 - At Sterling Heights, Ethan Hoffman tossed a one-hit shutout on the mound for Bishop Foley.

- Birmingham Groves 10, Royal Oak 3 - At Beverly Hills, Chaise Ford picked up the win on the mound, allowing no earned runs on one hit over six innings and amassing eight strikeouts, and also added a solo home run on offense, Harrison Cole was 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored, Nick Ringler finished 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored and Max Novick was 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a pair of runs scored for Groves (3-0). Brennen Harbert pitched 4 and ⅓ of no-hit ball and earned a no decision, Jamie Bartelotti was 1-for-2 with two runs driven in, Rob Debastos added a double and Hayden Haran chipped in with an RBI for Royal Oak (2-1). The teams are scheduled to meet again for a single game Thursday at Royal Oak.

- Warren De La Salle 5-4, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 2-6– At Warren, In the first game, Blake Bean went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored. In the second game, Damon Leja recorded the win on the mound as he pitched a complete game giving up four hits, one earned run and recorded five strikeouts. At the plate he went 1-for-4 with three RBI. Dillon Kark went 1-for-2 with a double. He also walked, hit by a pitch and had two runs scored for OLSM (4-6). St Mary’s will travel to Ohio to face St. Ignatius and Elyria Monday.

- Bloomfield Hills 5, Rochester Adams 3 – At Bloomfield Hills, Alex McCormack pitched four and third innings with three hits and five strikeouts. Alex Emde recorded two hits and two RBI for Bloomfield Hills (2-0). Bloomfield Hills will play Clarkston at Comerica Park on Friday.

- Clawson 9, Clinton Township Clintondale 0 - At Clawson, Bryce Blaesing pitched seven innings and allowed one hit while striking out 15 on the mound for Clawson.

- Walled Lake Northern 7-2, Walled Lake Western 0-3 – At Walled Lake, in the first game, Zack Northcott recorded 13 strikeouts and gave up just one hit in the contest. Zach Brunet went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Nick Powell went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs scored and an RBI for the Knights. In the second game, Scott Shingleton pitched six innings and recorded five strikeouts. Bryce Stuart had a double and two RBI. Nick Powell and Bob Jones each had a double for Northern (1-2, 1-1 KLAA North). Western (1-2. 1-1 KLAA Northern).

- Lakeland 4-6, Waterford Mott 3-1 - At White Lake, in the opener, Bret Lingenfelter finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and a pair of runs scored and Spencer Schorling recorded a game-winning RBI in the bottom of the seventh for Lakeland, while Andrew Hung finished 2-for-3 with a run scored for Mott. In game two, Lingenfelter threw a complete game giving up one earned run, striking out four and walking none, Connor Snell went 2-for-3 with an RBI, Wyatt Parmeter finished 2-for-2 with a run scored and Trevor Lauer supplied two RBI for Lakeland (3-0). Mott is 3-5.

- Walled Lake Central 5-2, Waterford Kettering 1-6 - At Waterford, In game one, Jake Gulvas threw six innings giving up only one run and striking out three for Central. Viking Morris Kirkland was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Teammate Matt Pfeiffer added two RBI and Drew Temple and Kyle Weir each added two hits.The nightcap was called for darkness after six innings. Kettering’s Billy Blanc tossed five innings and Eli Hilliard go-ahead two-run single in the fourth for Kettering. Waterford Kettering is now 2-4 overall.

- Rochester 3, Clinton Township Chippewa Valley 2 – At Rochester, Jacob Jackson recorded the win with three scoreless innings in relief. Matt Hawke had a double for Rochester (3-3).

- Troy 8-11, Southfield A&T 4-2 - At Troy, In the first game, Aaron Sexton went 2-for-3 and scored two runs. Carter Scillion went 1-for-2 with two walks. Cameron Mercer and Josh Corselo went 1-for-2 with a walk. Adam Duluth pitched four innings, gave up just two hits, two runs, one earned run and two strikeouts. In the second four inning game, Jake Soules went 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and two RBI. Stephen McAvoy went 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored. Mario Gaudino recorded the win as he pitched four innings, four hits, two runs, two earned and two strikeouts for Troy (2-1).

Softball

- Milford 4-14, Grand Blanc 0-12 - At Grand Blanc, In the first game, Natalie Herrington pitched a shutout in the opener. Riley Simlar, Herrington, and Audrey Petoskey each collected multiple hits. Petoskey, Pennebaker, Allison Smith, and Hailey Curtis each drove in one run to lead Milford to the win for Milford. In game two, Herrington and Petoskey each drove in four runs to pace the team. Kayla Pennebaker, Allison Smith, Koryn Pennebaker, Curtis, Amelia Price, and Riley Simlar each collected multiple hits. Hailey Curtis recorded the win and Audrey Petoskey totaled two home runs for the Mavericks.

- Birmingham Detroit Country Day 10, Canton Prep 0 (5 Innings) - At Canton, Gabrielle Maday pitched a perfect game with nine strikeouts and Katie Lyngklip had three hits for Detroit Country Day (1-0).

- Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett 2, Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 1 - At Rochester Hills, Grace Van Dellen, Rebecca Oleski and Madison Macy all contributed a hit apiece and Macy also allowed one earned run and striking out nine and Brynn Cudney contributed a hit and an RBI for Lutheran Northwest (1-1, 0-1 MIAC Blue).

- Walled Lake Northern 7-12, Walled Lake Western 1-2 - At Walled Lake, In the first game, Sophia Brenner went 2-for-3. Julia Barrett went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored. In the second game, Barrett went 3-for-3 with a double. Brenner went 1-for-2 and scored a run for the Warriors (2-2).

- Waterford Kettering 11-9, Walled Lake Central 1-2 – At Waterford, Madison French pitched both games totaling 11 innings pitched and 17 strikeouts. Bre Larkin and Barbara Strahan had home runs in the doubleheader. Alexis Wall, Olivia Katich and Madison French each recorded four hits in the doubleheader for Kettering (4-0). The Captains will face Milford on Monday.

- Lakeland 10-19, Waterford Mott 0-0 - At White Lake, In the first five inning game, Theresa Menzel recorded the win in both games. In the first game, Chase Schultz, Lauren Castellon and Mary Zimmerman each had two hits. Elizabeth Langley had three hits. Castellon and Zimmerman each had a pair of stolen bases for Lakeland. Nicole Todd went 1-for-2 for Mott. In the second three inning game, Menzel pitched two innings, gave up two hits and recorded a strikeout. Brooke Perry and Riana Koteles had three hits. Koteles had two home runs, a double and had five RBI. Perry and Castellon had three runs scored. Elizabeth Langley, Mary Zimmerman, Chase Schultz, Kyra Miller and Castellon had two hits apiece and Zimmerman recorded eight stolen bases in the contest (2-0).

Girls Tennis

- Madison Heights Lamphere 7, Center Line 1 – At Center Line, Dinh Luong, Min Li and Destiny Michaels for the second, third and fourth singles respectively. Lamphere swept doubles play respectively as Vy Nguyen-Jenny Truong; Vy Tran-Suzanne Awali; Joleyana Hirmiz-Lana Dowd; Christine Chambour-Jessalyn Titus recorded wins.

- Royal Oak Shrine 6, Wixom St. Catherine 2 (From Tuesday) - Colleen Herrmann recorded the win at one singles (7-5, 6-2). Mary Kate Bodien recorded a comeback win at three singles (4-6, 6-2, 6-4) for the Stars (0-1).

Boys Lacrosse

- Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 15, Flint Powers 5 - At Pontiac, Max Stowe three goals and eight other players all contributed a goal for Notre Dame Prep.

- Oxford 24, West Bloomfield 1 – (From Tuesday) - Gavin Fritz grabbed four assists. Ethan Cutler had two assists. Robert Rodriguez scored three goals. Drew Galley, Dryden Calcaterra, Sam Urban and Logan Vachon scored two goals apiece for Oxford.

Girls Lacrosse

- Birmingham Unified 17, Troy Athens 2 – At Birmingham, Meryl Feyes tallied five goals and two assists, Grace Murray added three goals and three assists, Hailey Roovers posted a pair of goals and Grace Fischer had a goal and two assists for Unified (2-0).

- Birmingham Marian 19, Plymouth 5 (From Monday) - Emily Frye scored four goals. Kaylin Meehan had three assists. Lauren Cosgrove scored two goals and had four assists.
