Fresh off leading Clarkston to it's first-ever boys basketball state championship, Foster Loyer keeps reeling in the honors.

The junior guard and Michigan State-commit who averaged better than 25 points per game and six assists per game this year was named to the 2016-17 MaxPreps High School Boys Basketball All-American Team, garnering fourth-team honors.

Loyer also recently was named to the 2016-17 all-Oakland Activities Association boys basketball team for the Red division.

Among Loyer's highlights listed by MaxPreps is his 119-straight free-throw makes.

Joining Loyer on the fourth-team is fellow Michigan State-commit Jaren Jackson, a senior forward from Indiana.

Only eight other juniors and one sophomore were named to any of MaxPreps' five All-American teams, and Loyer is the only representative from the state of Michigan among the five teams as well as the 25 Honorable Mention players.
