Waterford Mott senior Erik Arnegard signed on the dotted line and has committed to wrestle at Alma College next season after a recent ceremony held at the school.

Arnegard, coached by Ted Bowersox, helped key the Corsairs to one of its best seasons in years, including an eighth-place finish at the KLAA IndividualChampionships at Howell, where the 152-pounder garnered third place in one of the toughest conferences in the state.

Arnegard, who notched his 100th career victory during the season, also placed seventh at the Oakland County tournament, placed fourth at the D1 district at Troy, and was a regional qualifier, reaching the semifinal round of the tournament. He finished with a 37-15 record.

Arnegard joins an Alma squad which had Brendan Ladd (Ortonville Brandon) and Aaron Parr-Besemer (Berkley) on the roster last season.

The Scots compete in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and the NCAA III.
