CLARKSTON - Jack Muhleck totaled two hits and an RBI in both games of a doubleheader and Clarkston earned a sweep of Ortonville Brandon in non-league baseball action Thursday.

The Wolves won the opener, 13-3, in six innings, and then took the nightcap, 13-8. In the first game, Jack Kuczmanski had a hit and three RBI, Cam Hadley finished with a hit and two runs driven in and Ryan Barber struck out seven in allowing two earned runs in six innings on the mound for Clarkston, while Curtis Stimac tallied two hits and an RBI and Zach Clements added a hit and two RBI for Brandon in game one.

In the nightcap, Kyle Harvey drove in two runs and Nick Schaldenbrand finished with two hits and an RBI for Clarkston, while Adam Kelly and Stimac each had three hits and two RBI for Brandon.

- Birmingham Groves 4, Detroit Martin Luther King 3 (9 innings) - At Birmingham, Chaise Ford recorded the win with five and two thirds innings of relief. Max Novick went 2-for-2 with two RBI and recorded the game-winner in the bottom of the ninth inning Connor Bradbury went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Noah Zacharias hit a double. Andrew Martin went 1-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and a walk for Groves (15-4, 6-2 OAA White). Groves scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings. Groves will play in the Clarkston tournament on Saturday.

- Walled Lake Central 5, Waterford Kettering 4 – At Waterford, Jacob Downey and Matt Pfieffer each had two hits. Drew Henig had a pair of RBI and Jimi Kandah recorded the save for Central.

- Royal Oak 12, Ferndale 0 (5 innings) – At Royal Oak, Dave Lundeen pitched a five inning no-hitter and recorded nine strikeouts allowing just one base runner on a walk. Offensively, he added two hits and three RBI. Jamie Bartelotti scored four runs and had two RBI. Tristan Kray and Rob DeBastos had two RBI for Royal Oak (12-3, 8-0 OAA Gold).

- Bloomfield Hills 5, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood 2 - At Bloomfield Hills, Cam Greer earned the win on the mound, scattering five hits and racking up three strikeouts, CJ Drogosch and Matthew Biermann each recorded a double, a single and two RBI and Brandon Till added a pair of hits for Bloomfield Hills (12-7). Alex Finney had two hits and an RBI for Cranbrook-Kingswood.

- Auburn Hills Avondale 4, Berkley 3 - At Auburn Hills, Chris Andrus tallied the win on the mound. Brad Kavka was the starting pitcher giving up two runs, three hits, eight strikeouts and two walks. Travis Janes went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a game-winning double and Parker Travis went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Avondale (15-5, 8-1 in OAA Blue). Berkley(2-7 OAA Blue).

- Birmingham Detroit Country Day 9, Detroit Cass Tech 2 - At Beverly Hills, Jackson Berger picked up the win and added a hit while Will Krushena went 2-for-3 and three RBI and Tanner Greve added a hit and two RBI for Country Day (14-3).

- Novi Franklin Road Christian 7, Romulus Summit Academy 6 - At Novi, Franklin’s David Johnson was 4-for-5 with two RBI, Gavin Harris was 3-for-5 with an RBI, Zeke Stockman was 3-for-3 with two RBI and a walk, and Nick Hanley was 1-for-1 with the walk-off hit. Evan Lorey pitched the final three innings for the win allowing only two hits, no runs and one strikeout. Summit Academy’s S. Hamilton was 4-for-6 with a run scored and teammate Walker had two hits and a run scored. Novi Franklin Road Christian 10-3, Romulus Summit Academy 10-1.

- Troy Athens 6-7, Troy 5-2 - At Troy, the first game was a continuation of Monday’s game and a comeback win for Athens, Athens’ Louis Kassak was 1-for-4 with a run score and three RBI and Jeremy Patrick was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, For Troy, Colby Green was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a run scored and two RBI. In the second game, Redhawk Austin Sultzbach was 3-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI, Brendan Genereau was 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. Brendan O’Brien pitched 6 ⅓ innings giving up only one earned run and striking out three. (Athens 12-4, 8-0 OAA Blue). Troy (1-11 OAA Blue).


- Madison Heights Bishop Foley 10-6, Wixom St. Catherine of Siena 0-7 – At Madison Heights, In the first game, Payton Porter recorded nine strikeouts in five innings in the circle for the Stars. In the second game, Rachel Johnston recorded the win in the circle while Payton Porter recorded her first save. Genna Skalski, Skylar Crawford and Porter recorded RBI. Kelly Liszewski had three RBI. Colleen Fader and Kelly Lisczewski teamed up to record the game-ending double play for the Stars. Morgan Schimeck tallied the last run with a single in the fourth driving in Caroline Hewer for the game winner.

- Hartland 13-9, Grand Blanc 2-0 - At Grand Blanc, In game one, Hartland jumped out to an early lead on Grand Blanc and captured a 13-2 victory Hannah Mourad, Taylor Miller and Madelin Skene homered for Hartland. Anna Kemp picked up the win. In the nightcap, Madelin Skene struck out 16 batters and added a home run to her cause. Taylor Miller also homered and Delaney Greene, Elizabeth Everett added RBI for Hartland.

- Milford 14-10, Brighton 10-7 - At Brighton, in the opener, Audrey Petoskey hit home runs in the first and seventh innings in finishing 3-for-4 with five RBI and three runs scored and Hailey Curtis picked up the win in the circle for Milford. In the nightcap, Riley Simlar registered four hits, including driving in a pair of runs on a double to put the Mavericks ahead in the seventh inning, and Ally Carlisle homered for Milford.

- Novi Franklin Road Christian 11, Lutheran Westland 5 – At Westland, Kayla Mannoshi recorded the win in the circle with eight strikeouts. Danielle Fusco went 3-for-5. Hannah Rayburn went 3-for-4. Ally Broadright went 2-for-5. Audrey Govan went 2-for-4 for Franklin Road (5-4, 5-1 MIAC Red).

- Novi 6, Fenton 5 - At Novi, Maria Gustitus scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh after Hope Kapelanski - who added two hits - tripled to open the inning, Jaimie Gustitus totaled two hits and Madison Budde earned the win in the circle for Novi (15-7).

- Allen Park Cabrini 8-1, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 5-3 – At Allen Park, In the first game, Caley Gleason took the loss in the circle with five strikeouts and seven earned runs. Maddy McClune recorded three hits. Kacey Edmonds went 2-for-3 with three runs. Madeleine Fazio had two RBI on a bases loaded single. In the second game, Edmonds, Yanik, and Thornton picked up three RBI. Gleason gave up just one unearned run on six hits and struck out six batters for ND Prep.

- Hazel Park 3, Ferndale 2 - At Hazel Park, Kara Martin had a goal and two assists, Kara Sterner and Liz Sterner each added a goal and Kaitlin Meachum got the win in net for Hazel Park (7-3).

- Taylor Baptist Park 6, Southfield Christian 1 - At Southfield, Shannon Jones scored a goal that was assisted by Taylor Barry for Southfield Christian.

- Wixom St. Catherine of Siena 1, Riverview Gabriel Richard 1 - At Riverview, Mary Herrmann scored a goal that was assisted by Jaidyn Bozyk and Sophia Ivezaj made seven saves in goal for St. Catherine’s.

- Stoney Creek 2, Lake Orion 0 - At Rochester Hills, Taylor Paradoski netted a first-half goal and Truly Hoenig added a second-half marker for Stoney Creek.

- Milford 1, Grand Blanc 1 - At Highland, Melanie Porter scored a goal that was assisted by Reghan Lanfear for Milford.

- Birmingham Marian 2, Livonia Ladywood 1 - At Bloomfield Hills, Ellie DeConinck totaled a goal and an assist, Elaina Eckert added a goal, Jansen Eichenlaub contributed an assist and Isabel Hayes earned the win in goal for Marian, which led 1-0 at halftime.

- Birmingham Seaholm 0, Birmingham Groves 0 - At Birmingham, Alaina Betz made three saves in goal for Seaholm.

- Walled Lake Central 5, Waterford Mott 0 - At Walled Lake, Casey Estes scored the first two goals with Linden Ebling providing assistance on both. Laura Schultz scored the next two goals assisted by Lauren Wasiak on the first one and Abby Wallace on the next. The final goal was scored by Lauren Wasiak and assisted by Aria Rooker. Winning goalkeeper was Morgan Britain. Walled Lake Central 5-3-1.

- Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 3, Dearborn Divine Child 1 - At Pontiac, Celia Gaynor had two goals for Notre Dame. Grace Cummings scored a goal and Erika Wiest added two assists. Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 9-1-3.

- Linden 1, Ortonville Brandon 0 - At Linden, the Eagles scored the game’s only goal early in the second half and earned the win.

- Bloomfield Hills 2, Royal Oak 1 - At Bloomfield hills, Jennifer Miller and Sam Ferry each scored a goal, Sydney Huston had an assist and Becca Hancock earned the win in goal for Bloomfield Hills (7-2-1).

- Royal Oak Shrine 3, Riverview Gabriel Richard 2 (From Wednesday) - Nicholette Holder scored a goal on a penalty kick. Madison Karp added a goal and Jazmin Davis had an assist. Tanya Moaikel played strong in goal and Julia Sattler and Lizzy Gilreath provided strong support for Gabriel Richard.

Girls Tennis

- Livonia Stevenson 6, Hartland 3 - At Hartland, Madelyn-Grace Traub won number one singles 6-4, 6-3. With a back-to-back victory at three doubles, Regin Horan and Sydney Wesley, split sets for the win 3-6, 7-5, 6-4. Rachel Anderson and Anna Bredin had another strong performance at five doubles winning 6-1, 6-4 for Hartland.

Boys Lacrosse

- Lakeland 15, Waterford United 5 (From Wednesday) - At Waterford, Brendan Thelen had six goals and an assist. Andrew Simonich had three goals and two assists. The defense had a strong night as well led by E.J. Knighton. Collin Crafts and Dakota Racine combined for 10 saves for Lakeland.

Girls Lacrosse

- Lakeland 11, Grand Blanc 8 – (From Wednesday) Ellie Balagna and Mckenna Mesclier scored three goals. Britney Leist and Natalie Kerwin scored two goals. Angelica Bogden also added a goal for Lakeland.
