GARDEN CITY - In girls soccer action, Karlie Cummins scored two goals and grabbed an assist. As North Farmington defeated Garden City 4-0 on Friday.

Olivia Elby and Alexis Cohn added a goal. Sam Randel and Arti Vaishnav had an assist. Patil Tcholakian recorded her fourth shutout of the season for North Farmington (6-3-0).

More girls soccer

- Hazel Park 4, Center Line 0 - At Center Line, Kara Martin had three goals and an assist. Kara Sterner had a goal. Katelyn Meachum made seven saves to record her fourth shutout of the year (6-2).

- Ferndale 8, Eastpointe East Detroit 0 - At Eastpointe, Mia Gale scored four goals. Margaret Dominic Miah Ellis Mackenzie Thornton Isabel Kolanowski all scored a goal. Megan Burke recorded her fourth shutout (4-3-0).

- Novi 5, South Lyon East 1 - (From Thursday) At Novi, Chloe Allen and Jessie Halmaghi scored two goals apiece and Katrina Koomen added a goal for Novi (5-0-3, 4-0-1 KLAA Central), which led 3-0 at halftime. Lauren Kuznicki netted a goal for South Lyon East.

- Birmingham Marian 8, Dearborn Divine Child 0 - (From Thursday) At Bloomfield Hills, Claudia Schilling tallied three goals, Elaina Eckert, Maria Kaschalk and Ellie DeConinck all finished with a goal and an assist, Lauren Sollestre added a pair of assists and Kaitlin Patouhas earned the shutout in net for Marian.

- Northville 3, Plymouth Salem 2 (From Thursday) - Megan Krygier, Sydney Schembri and Megan Williams scored a goal. Nikki Buie, Ashley Troup and Kendall Dillon recorded an assist. Carlie Castiglione made eight saves for Northville (5-4-2). Salem (2-3-3).

Baseball

- Milford 5-5, Fenton 1-3 – At Fenton, In the first game, Sammy Lee and Logan Kahl combined for a no-hitter and six strikeouts. Toni Biberaj threw a complete game with seven strikeouts and gave up just four hits and one earned run. Kenny Bayne went 2-for-2 at the plate with a RBI, a run scored, a walk and two stolen bases for Milford.

- Walled Lake Northern 8, New Boston Huron 3 – At Walled Lake, Andrew Lawley recorded the win on the mound with five innings pitched. He recorded eight strikeouts, one walk, two hits and two runs scored. Nick Powell went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, two walks and two stolen bases. Jake Frelich went 1-for-3 with a pair of RBI and Jon Friend had a 2-for-3 day for the Knights (8-6).

- Novi Franklin Road Christian 14-10, Southfield Christian 2-3 - In the first five inning game, Paul Alex went 3-for-4 with three doubles and five RBI. Gavin Harris went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Nick Suchezky pitched a complete game, giving up four hits, four strikeouts, one walk and two unearned runs for Franklin Road. Ben Guerra went 1-for-3 and recorded the loss on the mound for the Eagles. In the second game, Harris went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two stolen bases. Evan Lorey went 2-for-4 a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Lorey pitched a complete game giving up five hits, nine strikeouts, three walks and just one earned run for Franklin Road (9-1, 4-1 MIAC). Guerra went 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Eagles (4-5, 2-2).

- St. Thomas Villanova 3, Birmingham Groves 2 (8 innings) - At Lasalle, Ont., Zavier Warren was 3-for-4 and Max Whalen, Josh Younker and Ryan Laub each threw a scoreless inning on the mound in the loss for the Falcons, now 12-4 overall and 4-2 in the OAA White. Groves used 19 players in the game, but had no hits with runners in scoring position.

- Farmington 5, North Farmington 1 - At Farmington, Dan Carty recorded thee win with four innings pitched, five strikeouts and one walk. Offensively, Carty also recorded three hits. Alex Manasa recorded the save with a pair of strikeouts and had a 2-for-4 day at the plate for Farmington (5-1 OAA White). Will Buraconak went 2-for-3 for North Farmington (0-6, OAA White).

- Walled Lake Central 15, Southfield Christian 3 - (From Thursday) At Southfield, Matt Pfieffer totaled two doubles and two RBI, Drew Henig and David Sprinkle each finished 2-for-4 and Richard Erpelding was 2-for-3 with four RBI on offense while also pitching four innings and allowing one earned run while tallying five strikeouts to earn the win on the mound for Central (11-5). Josh Guerra had a single and an RBI and Cam Springer contributed a double and an RBI for Southfield Christian (3-6).

Softball

- Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 11-12, Madison Heights Bishop Foley 0-3 – At Waterford, In the first game, Hannah Davies recorded the win in the circle with 13 strikeouts. Kayla Sanders went 2-for-2 with a home run, a triple and three RBI. Olivia Hankey went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Beth Meehan went 2-for-3 with two RBI. In the nightcap, Olivia Warrington recorded the win in the circle with nine strikeouts. Davies went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and three RBI. Stephanie Carvee had a home run and an RBI. Hankey went 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBI for WOLL (13-1, 11-1 CHSL).

- Clawson 17, Madison Heights Madison 1 (5 innings) At Madison Heights, Katie Stephenson had went 5-for-5. Ariana Inez had two hits and five RBI. Maddie Sparks allowed just two hits and had five strikeouts for Clawson (4-7).

- Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 6-10, Dearborn Divine Child 4-4 – At Pontiac, Caley Gleason pitched two complete games in the circle (13-0). Gleason pitched 14 innings, allowed 10 hits, eight walks and had 16 strikeouts for the day. Offensively, she had five hits, four runs scored and recorded a pair of RBI. In the first game, Kacey Edmonds went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Madeleine Fazio went 2-for-3 with a run scored and had four RBI. In the second game, Fazio added two more hits with two runs scored and two RBI. Maddy McClune went 4-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI. Rebecca Petrella recorded two RBI off a bases loaded double and scored a run. ND Prep (14-0, 10-0 CHSL AA).

- Farmington Hills Mercy 2-5, Warren Regina 1-2 – At Farmington Hills, In the first game, Nicole Belans went 1-for-3 with a home run and an RBI. Abby Krzywiecki went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Andrea Elmore pitched a complete game with one run, one earned, two walks and 11 strikeouts. In the nightcap, Anna Dixon went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a walk. Sophia Van Acker went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Elmore once again recorded the win in the circle with a complete game, two runs, two walks and four strikeouts for Mercy.

Boys Lacrosse

- Birmingham United 8, Detroit U-D Jesuit 7 - At Detroit, Ryan Flaherty and Dylan Sutton both had two goals. Jackson McElhenney Ian Schefferly and Jake Zanolli had a goal for United (5-5).

- Oxford 8, Lakeland 7 (From Thursday) - Brendan Thelen scored three goals. Andrew Simonich recorded a goal and an assist. Dakota Racine made 12 saves for Lakeland.

Girls Lacrosse

- Hartland 15, Notre Dame Academy 8 (WI) - Emily Brown scored four goals. Emily Beazley had four goals. Jordan Parry scored twice for Hartland.

Boys Golf

- (From Thursday) Holly finished in third place at the Walled Lake Western Invitational. The match was played at Bay Pointe Golf Club. Holly shot a team total of 332. Leading the way was Mitch Smith 82; David Matthews 83; Luke Harrington 83 and Kyle Vanboemel 84.

- Gavin Harris, Novi Franklin Road Christian baseball – Harris went 4-for-6 with five runs scored, two stolen bases and an RBI as Franklin Road swept Southfield Christian 14-2, 10-3 respectively in the doubleheader Friday.

- Olivia Hankey, Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes softball – Hankey went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and five RBI. Hankey also recorded the win in the circle of game one as WOLL recorded a doubleheader sweep of Madison Heights Bishop Foley 11-0 and 12-3 respectively on Friday.

- Katie Stephenson, Clawson softball – Stephenson went 5-for-5 at the plate as Clawson rolled to a 17-1 victory in five innings over Madison Heights Madison on Friday.

- Mia Gale, Ferndale girls soccer – Gale scored four goals to push Ferndale past Eastpointe East Detroit on Friday.

- Kara Martin, Hazel Park girls soccer – Martin had three goals and an assist as Hazel Park blanked Center Line 4-0 on Friday.
