WATERFORD - Olivia Warrington collected 15 strikeouts in the second game of a doubleheader as Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes swept Wixom St. Catherine of Siena, 13-0 and 9-1, on Wednesday.

Warrington, who allowed three hits, helped herself with a triple and an RBI. Stephanie Carver had a double and a home run while driving in three runs in the nightcap. Alex Troy and Hannah Davies each went 1-for-2 in the second-game victory.

In the five inning opener, Davies got the win for Lakers, tossing a one-hitter while striking out 13 batters. Carver also led the attack in the opener with two hits and four RBI. Olivia Hankey went 1-for-2 with one RBI, while Beth Meehan drove in two runs and Megan Ross knocked in another for the Lakers.

- Milford 16-15, Grand Blanc 0-4 - At Grand Blanc, In the first three inning game, Hailey Curtis recorded a shutout in the circle giving up just four hits and grabbing two strikeouts. Koryn Pennebaker hit a home run and Natalie Herrington had two extra base hits for Milford. In the four inning nightcap, Natalie Herrington recorded three hits with a pair of doubles and recorded the win in the circle. Pennebaker, Herrington, Gianna Seets and Audrey Petoskey helped lead the offense to combine for 11 hits and nine RBI in the first inning for Milford.

- Clawson 15, Oak Park 0 (3 innings) - At Clawson, Maddie Sparks recorded seven strikeouts and the win in the circle. Katie Stephenson recorded two hits and two RBI. Aly Orville had a hit and an RBI for Clawson (2-3).

- Walled Lake Central 6-10, Waterford Kettering 5-0 - At Commerce, In the first eight inning game, Jessica Kreuzer was the winning pitcher, Kennedy Crawford was 2-for-4 and Kaitlyn Wolschlager went 1-for-2 with two RBI. In the five inning nightcap, Wolschlager dealt five innings in the circle, giving up two hits and totaling six strikeouts while adding a double and a home run offensively for Central. On the day, Isabella Buttazzoni was 4-for-4 with a double and a triple and Molly Padrock had four RBI for Central.

- Birmingham Detroit Country Day 10, Madison Heights Lamphere 0 (5 innings) - At Beverly Hills, Gabrielle Maday tossed a three-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts. Maday also contributed two hits while Jacqueline Spizizen had two hits and two RBI for the Yellowjackets (2-0).

- Oxford 4-2, Ortonville Brandon 0-4 - At Oxford, Kaitlyn Bean dealt a two-hit shutout and piled up 13 strikeouts in the circle while adding two hits and an RBI offensively, Chloe Allen added an RBI and Lauren Donaldson, Hannah Vachon and Maddie Morris all contributed a hit apiece for Oxford. In the nightcap, Rachel Hendershott had an RBI double for Brandon. Hannah Vachon recorded 12 strikeouts. Lauren Donaldson went 1-for-4 with an RBI. Chloe Allen went 2-for-4 for Oxford.

- Hartland 15-0, Howell 8-11 - At Hartland, Heather Wilkin, Madelin Skene and Maeghan Wiley homered and Hannah Mourad, Sydney Pezzoni and Amanda Mourad also drove in runs for the Eagles in the second game of the doubleheader. Madelin Skene took the loss in the opening game for Hartland.


- Novi 12-12 South Lyon East 0-4 – At South Lyon, In the first game five inning game, Scott Beaton went 3-for-4 and Jac Colliau went 2-for-2 with two runs scored, two RBI and two walks. Alec Bageris pitched a complete game, giving up five hits, one walk and three strikeouts for Novi. Jack Palo went 2-for-3 for East. In the nightcap, Derek Riley pitched four innings, with three strikeouts and a walk. Mike Hrit went 3-for-3 with a walk. Spencer VanKirk went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI. Nathan Lys went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Noah Matthews went 1-for-3 with two RBI for Novi (7-2, 3-0 KLAA). Hayden Harrigan went 2-for-3 with two RBI and John Kochanek went 2-for-2 for East (1-4, 0-3 KLAA).

- Lakeland 9-5, Waterford Mott 6-1 – At White Lake, In the first game, Bryant Thickstun went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Jake Spry went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Cass Phillips recorded the win with five scoreless innings and eight strikeouts for Lakeland. Matt Scally went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Mott. In the second game, Connor Snell went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Phillips went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Spry threw a complete game, gave up just one earned run and had eight strikeouts for Lakeland (4-0). Donny Lindemier had a hit and an RBI for Mott (2-4).

- Rochester Adams 15, Birmingham Detroit Country Day 3 - At Beverly Hills, Anthony Kania went 3-for-4 with three hits, two runs scored and two RBI. Justin Seablom went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Andrew Carol went 2-for-2 with two walks. Michael Girdler went 2-for-2 with two walks and an RBI. Jack Lovalvo went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Bo Lineberger recorded the win on the mound pitching two innings with two strikeouts for Adams. Steve Mann went 1-for-2 with a walk. John Malcom went 2-for-3 with two RBI for Country Day.

- Royal Oak Shrine 8, Birmingham Groves 4 - At Birmingham, Andrew Jaeger notched a complete-game victory, allowing three earned runs while walked just one and recording two strikeouts. Brandon Whitmore led the Shrine offense by driving in three runs. Brennan Carr had two hits and drove in a run, while Tom Peaslee, Cam Eckert and Sean Ruhle also had an RBI for the Knights (3-0),

- Stoney Creek 8, Fraser 2 - At Fraser, Anthony Miller and Jordan Skidmore each had two hits for Stoney Creek. Skidmore earned the win on the mound, pitching four innings of relief and allowing three hits and one earned run for the Cougars.

- Bay City John Glenn 5, Oxford 4 - At Oxford, the Wildcats fell short despite the efforts of Mario Scribner, who had two hits, including a triple, and drove in a run. Devon Davenport doubled and scored, while Evan Brunning had a hit and an RBI for Oxford (1-4).

- Walled Lake Central 9, Waterford Kettering 4 - At Walled Lake, Jack Gulvas recorded the win, striking out five in four innings. Zac Walter led Central’s offense with three hits and an RBI. Jacob Downey and Dominic Vigliarolo each had two hits with an RBI, while Pierson Hoy went 2-for-3. Richard Erpelding notched the save, holding Kettering scoreless while collecting four strikeouts. The second game of the doubleheader was suspended due to darkness.

- Auburn Hills Avondale 13, Troy 0 - At Troy In a five inning opener, Chris Andrus was 3-for-4 with three RBI, Connor Gubariu went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Travis Janes threw a complete-game shutout for Avondale (4-2, 1-0 OAA Blue). Ryan Mittlebrun went 2-for-2 with a double for Troy in game one. The nightcap was called after three innings with Avondale leading 4-3 and will be resumed Thursday.

- Walled Lake Northern 8-12, Walled Lake Western 4-0 – At Walled Lake, in the first game, Devin Hager recorded the win on the mound giving up seven hits and striking out six batters. Andrew Lawley recorded the save. Jon Friend went 3-for-3 with a double and a three-run home run to get to five RBI. Dylan Stants went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Carter Farr 1-for-1 with an RBI double, a walk and a hit by pitch. In the five-inning nightcap, Nick Powell went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three stolen bases, Hager walked three times and had three steals and Jack Powell, Lawley and Nick Powell combined to pitch the shutout for Northern (3-0, 2-0 KLAA North).

- Hartland 3, Waterford Mott 1 (From Tuesday) - At Waterford, The Eagles beat the Corsairs 3-1 on Monday.

- Walled Lake Central 11, Milford 1 (From Tuesday) - At Walled Lake, Milford fell in their season opener to Walled Lake Central. Michael Varlese was strong on the mound for Milford who faces Grand Blanc on Wednesday.

- (From Tuesday) Birmingham Seaholm is off to a 4-0 start on the season with victories over Southfield-Lathrup (7-5); Bloomfield Hills (5-1); Marysville (10-9); and Clarkston (13-10).

- St. Clair 3, Clawson 2 – At St. Clair, Raquel Lewis scored a pair of goals and Sally Abdella had a pair of assists for Clawson.

- Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 4, Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 1 - At Ann Arbor, Celia Gaynor totaled two goals and an assist and Olivia Mears added two goals for Notre Dame Prep (3-0-2, 2-0-1 CHSL).

- Hartland 1, Plymouth Canton 1 - At Hartland, Sydney Hughes tallied a goal, Grace Thomas picked up an assist and Christine Bowen made six saves in net for Hartland.

- Ortonville Brandon 4, North Branch 1 - At North Branch, Sarah Buda had a stellar performance scoring two goals and also adding two assists, Karlie Hoffman and Miranda Campe also had goals for Brandon while Hannah Lapanowski and Marisa Bone picked up the assists. Logan Owen made five saves in goal for the victory.

- Ortonville Brandon 5, Owosso 0 (From Tuesday) - At Ortonville, Karlie Hoffman, Sarah Buda, Sarah Abbott, Allie Keller and Colleen Dwyer each scored a goal. Hannah Lapanowski and Randi Jannette added assists and Logan Owen made two saves for the shutout as Brandon improves to 1-1 on the season.

- Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 7, West Bloomfield Frankel Jewish Academy 1 (From Tuesday) - Allison Maiorana scored four goals, Catherine Weddle had two goals and Emma Hoffman added a goal for WOLL.

- Novi 1, Hartland 1 (From Monday) - Chloe Allen scored a goal and Katrina Koomen added an assist. Sakura Bals scored the lone goal for Hartland. Aastha Dharia made five saves for Novi.

Boys Lacrosse

- Hartland 10, Northville 1 - At Hartland, Garnet Potter scored three goals and added three assists, while John Chafee held Northville to one goal in the Eagles’ victory. Andrew Spisz and Sam Highland supplied two goals apiece, while Justin Light, Scott Wistinghausen and Maveric Muscat added one apiece. Jake Gallaher chipped in two assists.

Girls Lacrosse

- Northville 7, Hartland 6 - At Northville, Cassie Pankowski totaled two goals and Hana Barnett added a goal and an assist for Hartland. Northville scored the game-winning goal with nine seconds left to play.

Girls Tennis

- Hartland 6, South Lyon 3 - At Hartland, collecting singles victories for Hartland were M-G Traub, Crystal Schupbach and Jackie Spryshak. Collecting doubles victories for Hartland were the teams of Rachel Young and Greta Stroven, Grace Lemley and Sam Seelinger and Rachel Anderson and Anna Bredin.

- Lakeland 9, Waterford Mott 0 - (From Tuesday) At Waterford, singles winners for Lakeland were Alyssa Salciccioli, Rikako Miki, Karen Schmitt and Ronya Ahmed. Doubles winners for Lakeland were the teams of Ashley Munger and Gina O’Neill, Nina Kirchner and Megan Humphries, Ankita Rao and Samhita Kotapati, Raquel Putrus and Isabelle Beeker and Catherine Connaughton and Shreya Reddy. Lakeland is 1-0.

- Birmingham Detroit Country Day 120, Southfield Christian 37, Birmingham Roeper 6 - (From Tuesday) At Beverly Hills, the Eagles finished second in the tri-meet behind Elijah Hicks, who won the 100 Dash with a time of 10.87, and was third in the 200 (24.52). Other top performers for Southfield Christian included Max Vowles, who took second in the 800 Run (2:15) and third in the 1600 (5:17); CJ Roberson, who took second in the discus with a throw of 99-5; and Ricky Brown, who was third in the discus and shot put (37-8 1/2).

Girls Track and Field (From Tuesday)

- Birmingham Detroit Country Day 79, Southfield Christian 43, Birmingham Roeper 35 –Southfield Christian finished in second place at the invite at Birmingham Detroit Country Day. Chika Amene took first in the 200 and second in the 400 respectively (26.1, 1:04.00). Kaelin Ray grabbed second place in the High Jump (4-8); she finished second in the 100 Hurdles and the 300 Hurdles respectively (17.40, 53.40). Shelby Goodson finished in third place in the 100 (13.15). Grace Allan grabbed second place in the 1600 and Maurgan Lee finished in third in the 800 (3.01.00). Next action for the Lady Eagles is Saturday at the Brandon Invitational.
