    Basketball - Boys
    Sterling Heights

    Kama, a junior guard, scored 23 points to lead the Stallions to a 68-66 victory over Clintondale on Jan. 6. It was the Stallions' MAC Silver Division opener, and the victory gave Sterling Heights a 6-0 overall record. Kama had a 32-point game against East Detroit and 29 against Warren-Mott earlier.

    Basketball - Boys
    Dakota

    Kithier, a junior foward who has committed to Michigan State, scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds in a 78-62 MAC Red Division victory over Grosse Pointe South on Jan. 6.

  • Mariah Taylor

    Basketball - Girls
    Warren-Mott

    Taylor scored 32 points to lead the Marauders to a 53-25 MAC Gold Division victory over Lake Shore on Dec. 5. She also had 41 points in a game against Warren Woods-Tower and 32 against Berkley this season.

  • Emily Langolf

    Basketball - Girls
    Dakota

    Langolf scored 13 points and made 10 assists to lead Dakota to a 66-25 MAC Red victory over Grosse Pointe South on Jan. 6. It was the guard's first career double-double.
