The Beal City High School baseball team dropped a 7-6 decision at home to DeWitt Thursday, while the second game ended as a 5-5 tie.

Thomas McCann took the loss in the opener for the Aggies (4-1-2) as he allowed five runs and struck out five over five innings. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs.

Brett Upton was 2-for-4 with a double, while Trevor Embrey was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Beal City had a 5-0 lead in game two before DeWitt stormed back with a five-run seventh inning. Upton paced the Aggies with a three-run homer, while Chase Rollin was 2-for-4. McCann finished 2-for-3 with a run scored.
