Scoring two goals for the victors was Sever Hirmiz. Also scoring were Mario Bleebos, Logan Ross, and Savio Shaba. The Sterling Heightsí goals came from Yousuf Hanna and Yohan Hanna. Warren-Mott is 1-0-0, 1-3-0. It was the opening game of the season for Sterling Heights. NEW HAVEN 8, MADISON 0: Dolan Bonkowski scored three goals and added two assists to lead the Rockets (1-0, 2-1) to victory in their Silver Division opener. Also scoring were Innocent Nwoko (two goals, one assist) , Tristan Castiglione, Alante Stevens and Bailey Schade. New Haven goalie Brandon Gonzalez registered his first shutout. Madisonís Phillip Abobo and Chris Toma played well. The Rockets host Lincoln Friday. LAKEVIEW 3, LíANSE CREUSE NORTH 0: August Hunter scored twice and Nicholas Ferreri added a goal to lead the Huskies. Keeper Clayton Green made a save on a PK. RICHMOND 5, YALE 0: Michael Bullock and four other Richmond players scored a goal apiece to lead the host Blue Devils, who are 2-0-0 in BWAC matches. Ben Kochan, Matt Schuster, Brad Trombley and Robert Trombley also scored a goal each and Allan Szczesniak made four saves en route to the shutout. Richmond led 3-0 at halftime. Richmond plays in a tournament at Goodrich FRASER 2, BROTHER RICE 0: Jordan Hogard came off the bench in the first half to give the Ramblers a spark, assisting Justin Gray to give Fraser a 1-0 lead in the first half. In the second, Gray took a shot, which was deflected by Nick Sharpe, and Hogard headed it past the keeper for another goal. Fraserís defense was anchored by Dylan Donnelly, Austin Rassey, Collin Haggerty and Ben Kirck. Alec Sharpe made four saves to earn his fourth shutout of the year. Fraser (5-0-1) hosts the Fraser Showcase on Saturday. DE LA SALLE 7, CRESTWOOD 0: Aleks Vushaj scored three goals for the Pilots, who raised their record to 5-1 with this non-league win. JackRyan Williams scored twice. Also getting goals were Colin Roach and Vince Righi. Vince Manzo notched three assists. Also getting assists were Brendan Burnett, Angelo Grillo and Michael Smigiel. Goalie Max Kowalski played well en route to the shutout. De La Salle hosts the Michigan Showcase Saturday at the Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac. The Pilots open against Clarkston at 9 a.m. At 1 p.m., they will play Ann Arbor Skyline.
