De La Salle holds on to beat Toledo Catholic Central

DE LA SALLE 21, TOLEDO CATHOLIC CENTRAL 14: Sophomore running back Allen Stritzinger scored two touchdowns, including one with 1:41 left in the fourth quarter that broke a 14-14 tie and lifted visiting De La Salle to the victory.

Stritzinger, who had more than 100 rushing yards, scored on a 34-yard run in the third quarter and Jake Townsley added the extra point.

Junior running back Tru Wilson scored for the Pilots on a 21-yard run in the third.

Wilsonís touchdown tied the game at 14-14. Stritzingerís second TD gave DLS its first lead of the game.

Pilots defensive back Josh Wilk recovered a Toledo CC fumble inside the De La Salle five-yard line in the fourth quarter.

Stritzinger set up his second TD, a two-yard burst, with a 27-yard run.

The result gave the teams a split of their games this season and last.

Toledo CC defeated the Pilots at Wayne State in 2013.

De La Salle plays its home games at Wayne State this season, starting with a contest Friday against London (Ontario) Clarke Road.
