Roseville bouces L'Anse Creuse

MAC WHITE DIVISION

ROSEVILLE 70, L’ANSE CREUSE 61 >> The golden arch? Those were no drive thru 3-pointers knocked down by the Panthers’ Jaylis Miles, whose 19 points included five triples.

Adrian Finley scored 15 to help Roseville (3-3, 6-5) snap a three-game skid. Ryan DiCiacca and Brandon Hrelja had 12 points each. Elijah Collier scored seven and grabbed 12 rebounds.

L’Anse Creuse was led by Max Cook, who scored 19. Andrius Miller added 11 points.

Roseville hosts Utica Wednesday.

MAC SILVER DIVISION

CLINTONDALE 65, CENTER LINE 42 >> Dominick the Dominator Hallums had 19 points, five rebounds, six assists and five steals as the Dragons raised their record to 9-2, 6-1.

“Center Line gave us the largest deficit we’ve had all season (7-0). They hit five 3’s in the first half, and three of those came in the first quarter,” said Rob Townsend, the Clintondale coach.

Center Line led 15-12 at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, Clintondale had come back to grab a 20-15 advantage.

Also for Clintondale, Todd Moore scored 15, and Mac Griffin had eight points and 14 rebounds.

Center Line’s Martez Milledge led the way with seven points.

On Tuesday, Clintondale welcomes Center Line.

PARKWAY CHRISTIAN 78, LUTHERAN SOUTH 46 >> Obviously the Parkway Christian players have free long distance on their cell phones.

The Eagles dialed up nine 3-point shots. Nick Kocik drilled five from behind the arc in the first quarter to finish with 15 points. Nathan Schick scored 19 and Ryan Stewart added 13. Charles Mitchell grabbed nine rebounds, and Coke Kasperowicz had six boards.

On Tuesday, the Eagles welcome Macomb Christian.

IMLAY CITY 50, ANCHOR BAY 49 >> It was a foul night for coach Bob Jolet and his host Tars, as they lost a heart-breaker when Anthony Howard of Imlay City hit a pair of free throws with 1.8 seconds to play. Howard finished with a game-high 19 points.

Imlay City remained undefeated at 10-0.

Anchor Bay’s Jack O’Shea had 12 points and nine rebounds. Tino DeJesus scored 11, and Alex Hamilton tossed in 10.

Anchor Bay welcomes Grosse Pointe South Tuesday.

ARMADA 57, MARYSVILLE 44 >> Senior Trevor Holston had 18 points and nine rebounds and Logan Vettraino scored 10 points to lead Armada to the victory in the game that was postponed earlier this season. Jordan Lenhart had seven rebounds and Willie Stark had six rebounds for the Tigers (4-8), who play Peck on Tuesday at home.
