Lake Shore wins Division 2 district title; Richmond, Armada advance in D3

If there was any sort of home-court advantage in competitive cheer, Lake Shore took full advantage Saturday.

The Shorians won a Division 2 district title totaling 743.38 points in three rounds of competition.

Also advancing to regionals were St. Clair (737.72), Warren Woods-Tower (730.38) and Marysville (703.92).

Richmond placed second at the Division 3 district at Yale behind Notre Dame Prep (776.06).

The Blue Devils had a three-round score of 775.30.

Armada also advanced to regionals, placing third with 758.02.

Memphis placed third at the Division 4 district at Lake Orion with a three-round score of 677.60.
